Log :: Complete
When; 12th June (Perhaps)
Rating; PG. Nothing to see here folks.
Characters; Roy Mustang
flameroy and Cielo Corva
skylight_crow
Summary; Roy has offered Cielo a room in his lonely flat, for Cielo and a herd of tiny purple unicorns. He's a little unsure about the unicorns, he had him mind set on a dog, really. Either way, for him he feels he's helping someone out (by connecting his floor, and the flat beneath his flat to a kind of 'keep' for the little things. Posted here, mostly because Cielo-mun and I keep missing each other.
Log;
He was sat on the sofa admiring his alchemic handiwork for most of the morning, sipping water. His jacket was draped over the back of the other side of the sofa, apparently it's new home - he hadn't worn it in a while now. He wasn't entirely sure how to expect Cielo and her 'company' He'd managed to create another floor to his apartment downstairs, and the bedrooms were closed off for the time being. He'd spent the time transmuting everything down there that he thought potentially dangerous to unicorn into part of the layout.
Now all he needed to do was wait for Cielo to turn up so he could show her around. The weirdest part was that he didn't even know her, they'd only really communicated over the Network. She had seemed like a nice enough girl, though.

The ticking was the most pressing reason why she wanted to move out, and move in with someone else. It was like trickling water from a faucet that wouldn't shut off - you couldn't get it out of your system. So when a certain Roy Mustang - colonel, taken note of that, too - had offered, she took it up.
Only she was carrying a whole box of bouncing purple fluffs that had eaten half of a shirt, on this particular occasion, and given her sense of direction it had taken her a little longer than it should have to find Building 3.
Building 3, Flat 9. Looks about it, right, okay.
Cielo let out a small sigh, hitched the unicorns' box and knocked.

Standing, he moved to the door and pulled it open, immediately setting his eyes on the box in Cielo's hand. He wondered how heavy it was, and whether the goods were causing a fuss.
"Cielo? Come on in." He said with a smile, stepping back to allow Cielo entry to his flat. "Is that heavy?"
no subject
"Hi, Colonel."
Man with manners. Having grown up used to the finer side of life made her develop a sense of respect for respect, if that ever made sense. She took the invitation and stepped in, looked around and absorbed the place for the first time.
"This is nice," she commented, just as the box wiggled again in her arms. "Oh, and... this will be the-"
The box tipped, spilled out its contents and before she could close the flap, there were about five small bouncing purple horses as big as a throwpillow prancing around their legs.
"...the unicorns."
One of them grew stars on their tails.

"Ah." He noted, looking down at the tiny things on the floor. He hadn't known what to expect, but he supposed adjoining the two flats was cool anyway. He could live with having more guests around.
"That one just grew stars." He said, bemused, crouching down to get a better look. "Friendly?"
no subject
"They're friendly enough," she answered, weaving her way between the jumping things to set her small bag down. "Except when they get hungry."
Here's hoping Roy didn't mind his legs getting poked by horns.

"Did you want anything to drink? I've got a few things in the fridge.."

The unicorns were sniffing around the place, making for a chair, bounding around on their small pink hooves and leaving marks on the carpet.
The apartment had a good sense of symmetry to it. A living area with two sofas facing each other, bookshelves on one side, cieling high enough to give a sense of space. Not bad, for a guy's place, really.
"You live alone, right?"
no subject
"Not anymore." He reminded, half-smirking as he did so.
"Cielo... They are leaving marks in my carpet..." he muttered, suddenly remembering for himself what had happened to his front door. "It's a good job these apartments fix themselves every twenty-four hours isn't it?" He laughed and moved to sit down on one of the sofas that wasn't occupied by a purple fluffball.
no subject
"The fixing thing is great, yeah," she agreed, "especially when you sometimes tend to break things a lot- HEY!"
One of the unicorns had started gnawing on a table leg. Cielo pulled at its tail, lifted it off its feet and took a small block of wood she kept in one of her pockets. She threw it on the floor, kicked it around and watched the unicorns bounce around, running after it.
Then she left them alone and watched them play with the block, quietly drinking the water as she sat back on her heels on the floor.
"They like tables and chairs."

He had to laugh though, just a little. "I'll make sure they have lots of play with downstairs. We could go shopping for those kinds of things if you like?" He asked, wondering when he suddenly cared so much about so many inconsequential things. Mind you, he didn't want his furniture chewing at every opportune moment.

She looked away for a bit.
"Jan gave them to me, when they first invaded his home." Jan, the first person she considered a friend in the city. First neighbor, too. "He said good things about you when I mentioned I was moving here."
no subject
"We'll keep them amused I'm sure. The downstairs floor will be unicorn-proofed".
He was laughing lightly until Cielo mentioned 'Jan' and he frowned slightly. "Good things? What kinds of things did he say?"
no subject
There was something hard about keeping a conversation going with anyone, and she personally knew the pitfalls of her personality all too well. Her friends did the talking, she did the listening and the kicking other people's groins. That was her.
But one has to try, right?
"Do you like carrots?"
