Log;

She had honestly never went to the hot-springs before. It was a little strange to walk up to the building, especially when she was so on edge about that girl going off with that Cassain kid. She didn't trust him or his puppet-master. And on top of that, Doumeki's friend had disappeared as well, and she was sure that he wasn't in the best mood because of it. With all these dissapearances, she couldn't help but think about Chrno, who had appeared once or twice in the city, all but ignored her, and then disappeared again. She didn't believe it was actually him, she HOPED that it wasn't, because thinking that her best friend and contracted would treat her like that made her stomach turn.  With a sigh the girl eased up to the door, shifting from foot too foot, before knocking on the door, making a bit of a face as she looked around at the entrance. "Come on Doumeki, answer the door." She mumbled, the last thing she needed was GREED or someone answering it instead.

Of all the people, Doumeki didn’t exactly expect to see Rosette show up at the front doorstep to the hot springs. So when he opened the door, he expected to see probably someone for either Greed or one of the other residents. He blinked, once, in slight surprise. “...hi.” he stated, eloquently.

Doumeki shook his head. “No…think he went home.” The corner of his mouth quirked slightly as she asked if he was going to invite her in. Good point. “Come on in.” He opened the door fully, stepping out of the way. Behind him, Doumeki could hear Fai tinkering around in the kitchen, though what the blond was doing, the archer couldn’t say. The mage had, oddly enough, brought him back a child’s knight outfit...though how Fai thought he was going to fit into it was beyond Doumeki. Ah, well. It was the thought that counted, right?

The archer shook his head. “No, I’m not doing anything.” he replied, closing the door behind her. “You can stay.” Which, in Doumeki speak, meant something along the lines of “I’d like you to stay” more than anything else.

Doumeki nodded in agreement. “Yeah, the Opera House is more classic.” he stated, hands stuck in his pockets. He was rather curious as to why Rosette had stopped by, but he wasn’t about to come right out and ask her. Oh no, that would be telling. To say that he felt a little lost at this moment would be an understatement. Watanuki’s going home was poorly timed, but the boy was a close friend at least, that was all he was admitting to himself for now and it was the archer’s job to protect him…how could Doumeki protect Watanuki if he was gone? However, he pushed those thoughts aside, instead choosing to focus on Rosette.

The archer blinked as Rosette asked him if he was alright. He watched as she poked him in the chest, and the corner of his lip quirked just slightly. “...yeah.” he stated, though in response to what question and/or statement it was, well, that wasn’t quite clear.

“But then you wouldn’t be able to call me Rock Face.” Doumeki stated, his voice a flat monotone, even though it was a joke. He followed after her at a leisurely gait, easily catching up due to his long legs. “You could soak in the hot springs. Or watch TV or something.”

Doumeki’s lip twitched upward again at Rosette’s statement, but he quickly masked it as she turned around. Oh, they were at a dead end. Fancy that. “...the kitchen’s this way.” he stated, pointing down a hall to their left. Well, if she was hungry, they’d just get food. Granted, he couldn’t cook worth shit, but that was beside the point.

One eyebrow raised slightly as Doumeki spotted the blond in the kitchen. Instead of replying, he took a step inside. “Fai-san.” he stated, to get the mage’s attention.

Things had been fairly confusing, that day. While one of them had already left for no reason at all, Fai had simply blinked and suddenly found himself covered from head to toe in white baking flour, the kitchen already adorned with much of the ingredients he’d used in order to produce a cake worthy of a deity. Or at least one in particular who seemed much too out of sorts, which couldn’t really be a good thing if going by Ashura’s mood swings so very long ago was any indication to be considered helpful, at this point.

So the mage hummed pleasantly to himself instead as he waltzed about the place, maybe a bit too content for his own good, since this brought back a flood of memories that looked vaguely like a world they’d been to where they owned a shop, and then it forced his thoughts to drift to what he’d only just come to realize, earlier that day. But doing that wouldn’t help matters any.

At the sound of voices from the hall and then with his name being stated, Fai turned about on his heel and waved merrily at the two teenagers, enveloping both in a loose hug which happened to get them a bit powdery by the flour he was covered in. "Hi, hi~! I’m just baking. Would you two like anything?"
