LOG: ON-GOING

When; July 03, Morning.
Rating; G, probably.
Characters; Hiwatari Satoshi [livejournal.com profile] satoshihikari & Niwa Daisuke [livejournal.com profile] theclumsythief
Summary; Satoshi finds himself in The City and Daisuke comes to pick him up from his pit of confusion!
Log;

It shouldn't be too hard to find someone like Satoshi in the mess of what was The City. Though everyone seemed to be going crazy over this I-taste-like-ice cream curse today, Daisuke tried his best to avoid the frantic screams of people wanting to lick him. He politely refused, of course, because the idea was pretty much downright uncomfortable. Hopefully, Satoshi wouldn't be part of the same fate.

Moving through the crowd, the redhead tried to find for his blue-haired friend from the tops of people's heads, crying out "Hiwatari-kun" every now and then to try to draw his attention.

Satoshi leaned back against a lamppost near the carousel. He looked on into the crowd that was a few feet away from him. He could hear shouts of what different ice cream flavors everyone tasted like. This curse thing...he didn't understand it. And that annoyed him slightly.

He stared out into the crowd, looking for his red-headed klutzy...acquaintance? Was Daisuke truly a friend? Could Satoshi honestly be a friend with someone who shared a body with Dark Mousey?

For the time being, he would have to be because he wasn't comfortable in this new place all alone and a familiar face was quite welcome to him. He suddenly heard a "Hiwatari-kun!" above the shouts of the crowd. He took a few steps away from the lamppost to search for his "friend". It was then he saw the red head, his spiked hair sticking out in many directions. He adjusted his glasses and called out "Niwa," just loud enough for him to hear, but not shouting.

Satoshi cocked his eyebrow. ".....No."

He looked around at the people and shook his head in disgust. He turned back to Daisuke.

"Why do these curses happen?" Satoshi wanted answers and he wanted em now.

"'Rent'...you say?" Now Satoshi had a semi-clear understanding of why these curses happen...

"No one knows how they happen..." It was more of a statement, since he deduced the answer already.

He watched Daisuke's body language. Yes, same Niwa as always. Always seemed nervous naive and oblivious without meaning to be. He smirked a bit to himself.

"When do we leave?" he asked directly.

"...so there's no discernible way out of here..." he said rather grimly.

His fists clenched as he processed this new information that frustrated him. He felt the situation he was in slip out of his control, which he did not like one bit.

"Wait...'any of us'? ...Are there other people here I should know about?" This was the most Satoshi had talked in a while.

His body stiffened and his eyes iced over as Daisuke mentioned Dark's name, even though he knew that the Phantom Thief was standing before his very eyes. So that's how Daisuke wanted to play it hm? As though he wasn't sharing bodies with Dark? Alright. Satoshi was up for the little game.

The slightest shadow of a smirk graced his lips as he reiterated, "The Phantom Thief Dark...?" He watched Daisuke's body language to see how he would react at his implied question. He ignored the latter invitation for now.

Satoshi's interest was piqued. Daisuke had quite obviously tried to avoid the subject, but he had been backed into a corner. "Really...Have you seen him?" he asked, nonchalantly as though he had been talking about the weather.

He stuck his hands in the pockets of his khakis watching Daisuke for subtleties in his body language, just in case he caught Niwa telling a white lie.
