Log;
The blue haired bespectacled teen wandered through the town with his hands in the pockets of his slacks. He was still trying to get accustomed to the new place, but he wasn't very fond of looking around a place he didn't know by himself. He also needed to get out of the apartment. It disgusted him to think that Dark Mousey lived just a few doors down from him. He was brooding over the fact that he couldn't capture him in this place because no one really knew that he was a thief, nor did he commit any crimes here that he knew of. Thus, arresting him would be totally pointless. He was hardly looking where he was going, his train of thought was so deep.

Steaks of color stained his fingers.

Had Soubi been anymore observant beyond that -yes, an artist always was- he wouldn’t have bothered leaving the apartment. First, it was simply stepping out for air. The blond had done it enough times to know the routine of it: learn to breathe again, light a smoke, finish it half through. And then he would return to the mess on the floor, kneel down in place to resume what it was he had started. Now, it was walking to easy the mood cramping his creative flow and clouding his thoughts.

Thoughts full of color and hands and eyes. Those things he could not escape no matter how many useless words he spoke. Or how many times he’d kissed that mouth, ran his fingers through that dark, dark hair…

Soubi shook his head, hands trembling still as he flicked his cigarette onto the sidewalk, crushing it under heel. He had no intended destination, simply moving to move and nothing more. And when he noticed the mindless wanderings of a boy he’d barely spoken to suddenly appear before him, it did not ease his mindset. Laughing quietly, he simply fell instep behind him.

“Mm. How cute,” he whispered, smiling without really noticing that the entirety of his body remained tense.

“Perhaps,” came the immediate response, the corners of his mouth twitching in just the slightest hint of another grin. In some way, Soubi disliked the immediate assumption that this boy knew him. Knew him as Ritsuka did. And almost in the same way he did. But that thought was quickly dissolved the moment longer legs stopped walking, hand reaching out as if to touch the other.

Then, he decided against it, dropping his fingers against his thighs. He could feel the weight of the paint soaking into his flesh.

“Does it matter?” he asked after a moment, titling his head in a way the light reflected off his glasses. Soubi couldn’t tell, not since he was so distracted, but the smile was no longer gracing his lips.
