Rating; Oh lord, you never know what's going to happen.

Summary; Zack's throwing Ev a Returning To the City Party and, well. There's alcohol?
Note; So yeah, I decided to have one of these up anyways. So here's how it's gonna work. I'm stealing Shahni's idea with putting on the Subject Line who you want to talk to in specific. So, if you're wanting to talk to Zack, you put something like [ ATTN: Zack ] on the subject line. Pretty easy, right?

If you want to talk to just anyone and it's open and free for all, put [ ATTN: All ] on the subject line. Or something on those lines. And yeah, click "reply to this" and not "post a new comment" when you want to talk to someone in specific if the thread asks for you. It'll get confusing otherwise.

So yeah, join in if you want. If not? That's cool too, I just wanted to give the option to those who don't mind doing something random. ♥ And pls to be forgiving my intro post. I just woke up, after all.

So this whole party thing was pretty cool so far. The Host Club kids came to his place and started setting things up in the morning, and they all seemed like such good sports (and a lot of help, too) and were doing a pretty damn good job with everything so far.

Sure, there were a few... very small accidents here and there, but that was mainly Zack's fault since he didn't know where to put himself half of the time. The couch was his new best friend for the first few hours after that.

But soon things were set up and ready to go all thanks to them, and Zack had taken the liberty to give them all hugs before the flow of people started coming in.

Now while his place wasn't exactly huge, it was big enough to throw a party. And as Zack said once, if things got too crowded there was always the hallway to parade in, especially since it would just gather more attention and Zack, for one, loved attention. Especially if it involved people getting together like this and being able to meet new faces. Thus why it wasn't a small party, like, well, welcome back parties should be.

And things were finally picking up, quicker than he thought, actually. Maybe he should have thought about doing it outside, but did Zack ever take anyone's advice? Oh no. Not at all. But it wasn't overly crowded since he prodded some people outside in the hall where there were plenty things set up there as well.

Zack looked extremely pleased as violet eyes circled around towards the mini crowd he had going in and out, waving and saying loud “hello!”s over people's heads as he either passed out drinks or ran to go talk to random bits of friends here and there.

"Hey, you with the bad hair-" like she was really one to talk- "do you have anything non-alcoholic around here?" Larx called, weaving her way through the crowd, careful not to let her half-healed arm get jostled around too much. She'd prefer to avoid a repeat of the hangover she had after Reno's party.

"Eh?" Zack turned away from a small group of people he was chatting with, grinning widely once he noticed who it was. Ah, yes. He remembered her. Barely, because he never really spoke to Larxene more than a few times, but he still remembered.

As if he didn't hear that bad hair comment, since his hair was amazing in the first place, Zack reached over to pluck a (unopened, mind you) can of soda and a bottle of water off of the counter, meeting Larxene half-way while holding up the items in his hands. "Pick and choose, yo."

Larxene took the water without a word and wandered off. Really, she was just here to watch people make fools of themselves; also she figured Reno would be at the party, and she hadn't quite given up on pursuing him yet.

A slim figure stationed by the drink table, Aerith kept a close eye on those that approached. It wouldn't do if the children got a hold of an alcoholic beverage by mistake. She wasn't trying to be a damper on the fun. In fact, she had never even planned on having to do this in the first place.

But after noticing that there were children in this party not even in their teens, well, she wasn't about to have them passing out on the floor.

Noticing a little cherub reach for a wine cooler she plucked it from his hands, cheerfuly switching it with a plastic cup of soda. "This one's better."

Kairi walked down the hallway towards apartment #33, straightening out her halter-top and pleated miniskirt while making a quick mental skim over her checklist. Complimenting outfit; check. Light make-up; check. Necklace, earrings, bangles; check. Pouch-purse; check. Sandals, ...well, duh. Sora; ...half a check. Riku; ...was Riku coming?

She twirled around with a tiny sigh before smiling enthusiastically, hands laced behind her back and fiddling with the jewelry adorning them. "Sora~!" she chirped across the hall. "Come on!"

A quick glance around after he passed Larxene her water (what a nice girl, really) and Zack noticed Aerith doing her usual parental "no drinking for underage kids" thing. Then again, Zack was actually the same way, he just didn't think kids would want to show up at a party like this.

However, he did happily invite everyone, so of course he had to accommodate to what other people might like.

But, since his hands were free, Zack weaved between two girls, whom he winked to each of them and blew a kiss in the process, and made his way over to Aerith. He greeted her as he usually did with people: with a nice, big hug.

"Ah~ Playing all motherly-like. It's so cute!" The raven-haired one couldn't help but do his little ridiculous snuggling routine into brunette hair, a thing he usually did to those who actually allowed him to.

"The party isn't going anywhere, Kairi." Sora protested as he stretched, crossing both arms behind his head as he quickened his pace to catch up to her.

Thanks to Kairi's help, Sora was a touch more well dressed as usual. Left to his own devices it would have been the typical jeans and t-shirt, but now; snug long-sleeved red shirt with a lock designing the front, bell-bottomed black jeans and a beanie that managed to tame his mess of spikes. He had weaseled out of the touch of makeup somehow.

Pausing he spared Roxas and Riku a glance over his shoulder, pointing out. "I can hear the music from here!"

Sands was was no help at all during the set up. When asked he pulled down his sunglasses and showed off his gasping eye holes for all to see and claimed 'disability'. He stands near a wall and drinks from a plastic cup. Every now and then he trips some unsuspecting person with his cane.

He wasn't sure how he even knew there was a party going on--wasn't sure why he was here in the first place. But hey, it sounded like fun, the shopping had been done, and his stomach was cheerfully satiated (for the moment). There was nothing else to do back at the apartment anyway.

Tai went straight for the refreshment table as predicted, quickly scanning the goodies before deciding--I’m kinda thirsty--and headed in the direction of the table supporting the soda and funny-colored bottles.

... yeah. Those bottles looked weird. He had to try one. It was a party, right? And Taichi didn’t think he had pissed anyone off lately--other than that weird kid on the journals who didn’t even know what soccer was--and so! No one would try to poison him. Detaching from the sides of his friends, he rushed over and grabbed the funniest bottle he could find.

"I’m taking this, oka--" Tai paused and looked, realizing, "Hey! You’re that... aren't you that cooking lady from before?"

Kabuto had decided that he did want to come to this party he had been hearing about at the last minute; if he was going to be in the City for a while he might as well enjoy it. Not to mention he liked places where lots of people gathered like this, it was easier to stand out or dissapear into the crowd depending on the what one wanted. Right now he wanted neither really, but just to mingle. He had no purpose to being here, well not really.

He reajusted his glasses while trying to keep his smile from being too much of a smirk. "This will be a great way to meet people, Shizune san. Besides it should be fun." He was walking slightly in front of the woman, almost litteraly dragging her along.

"... I don't think I signed up for any 'fun'." Shizune grumbled, reluctantly allowing Kabuto to drag her into the party. She didn't know any of these people, but apparently Kabuto might be acquainted with some of them. Either way, she felt sort of obligated to come along when she was asked, as it was the least she could do, having asked to stay in the man's apartment. She had no other place to go, she kept telling herself.

"And I think you enjoy putting me in these awkward situations." She muttered, trying to look about without seeming to amazed by the variety of people hanging about. So many things she had never seen, clothing, hair, behavior. It was a little overwhelming, but she was safe in the knowledge that she at least knew the man who brought her.

Oh yes, Riku was coming, despite his earlier refusals to do so. Why? Sora was going, and there was simply no way he was going to stay inside the apartment. Not with the incessant ticking as his only company. And so, dressed in what may be labelled as skater clothes-- black blue hoodie with incomprehensible graffiti-type designs splashed up front, baggy cargo pants, and his shoes --he found himself walking down the hallway, heading the same way his friends were headed at.

Looking up ahead, he spotted the familiar frames of Sora and Kairi, and instantly, the boy's legs led him right to them. He blinked at Sora's comment and resisted the urge to leave; come on, he had to endure a day of weird, bubbly noises, and he was heading to a party with loud music? Then again, this should be more fun than yesterday anyway. So he might as well have a blast, right?

"Yeah, yeah. It'll keep us busy." There he went again, being vague and all. What he actually meant to say was that the music would help keep them away from certain non-kid-friendly beverages.

Shifting, Aerith turned her head to flash reproachful green eyes at the host. "Somebody has to do it. You need to accomodate the guests, and Cloud needs to watch you." She smiled. "I have the easiest job."

A boy approached the table and Aerith paused at his voice. "And you're the boy that wanted lessons." Somehow she managed to slide an arm free from the tight clamp of Zack's hug, snatching the bottle from the child's hand. "The soda is better, I promise."

"Don't be silly, I just thought it would be preferable to sitting in the apartment with nothing to do." Kabuto turned his head to look over his shoulder and smile at the woman. Really, though, he did enjoy putting her in awkward situations like she had said. He had been the one to suggest they be friends, and really what was wrong with that? It just gave him more opportunities to mess with her. He wasn't going to push it too far, tormenting her was much more difficult if she was trying to kill him instead of grudgingly accepting it.

He wove through the people towards the refreshments, grabbing something alcoholic for himself, though he would probably only sip at it for the evening. He had... unpleasant experiances with getting drunk. "What would you like to drink Shizune san?"

"Nothing remotely resembling alcohol, thank you." She planned to watch him carefully to make sure he slipped nothing into her drink. She was still wary of him. Very wary. "I have enough experience with Tsunade-sama getting drunk to have sworn off alcohol for several lifetimes." She was being very careful with what she said. They may be stuck in this place for now, but she didn't need to be saying anything that could endanger Konoha if Kabuto managed to make his way back into their world.

Rolling his eyes, Zack grinned widely and indeed kept his tight hold on Aerith, but peered at the one who approached them and smiled a bit wider. Wasn't he friends with that Takeru kid that got lost that one time? Oh well, even though he was usually one to talk loud and interrupt people, he did his best to keep his mouth shut.

With that, though, he looked around for Cloud and wondered if he got lost in the crowd. Zack was having too much fun latching onto Aerith like he was a child with their mother, so he kept his ground there instead and decided that if the blond wanted to find him, he could see him over everyone else anyway.

"Easiest job my butt." Zack muttered half-heartedly, trying to suppress the smile from growing any larger.

The first thing Yamato did upon catching up to Taichi was deliver a well-aimed punch to his friend's shoulder. "You idiot. That's alcohol!" Turning towards the warmly smiling woman and her companion, he bowed. "Sorry."

This was a bad idea. Definitely a bad idea. When Taichi had somehow whisked them off in his excitement to what he claimed would be a 'fun party', Yamato hadn't expected alcohol to come into the equation. Not to mention the music was giving him a headache.

Blinking a few times, Zack's smile only widened when Yamato arrived.

"You're--! You're Takeru's brother, aren't you?" Wow, so they were all showing up, one by one. Well. He kind of hoped he'd be able to see Takeru again since he was such a cute kid and all, but he really wasn't expecting to have so many underage kids to come. Didn't matter though since he had stuff for everyone, but still.

Unlatching a hand from Aerith, Zack extended his hand out to Yamato with a bright smile. "I'm Zack! Remember me? I helped your younger brother out when he first came to the City."

While it wasn't quite within his interest to attend a party that everyone in the city had been invited to, Kyou figured he had nothing to lose, by going. Except maybe a handful of braincells, although that happened on a regular basis, he supposed. Maybe it'd simply be in his best interest to set any personal opinions and judgments aside, for now. After the mind-numbing sounds from the other day, a change of scenery would be be nice, especially if the people hosting said party had some sort of stereo system hooked up. Regardless, it'd be a good break from the steady ticking.

Kyou mingled around the room for a short bit before heading to one of the refreshment tables. It felt slightly awkward to attend a party of such diversity; not everyone would attend, he assumed, but still, the blonde wasn't exactly used to seeing children when at a party. Kyou hoped silently that things wouldn't get too out of hand, but knew, at the same time, that it was probably inevitable.

After grabbing one of the countless chilled glass bottles and popping the cap, Kyou lingered by the table, quietly observing, for the time being.

Perhaps, Roxas realized, he would be the only person in the party that had dressed down. Or came in his normal attire, at the very least.

Roxas eyed the two boys with something akin to surprise, followed by amusement, his lips quirking slightly at the beanie on Sora's head. He made way through the street to the small group, feeling just a little out of place. But the pleasant buzzing in his chest couldn’t be bad. Giving them a small greeting in words followed by a nod, he then glanced towards the source of the music.

Here was to hoping that the music wasn’t as loud as it had been in the club.

Giving all four of them a small stare, he said, "We’re staying away from drinks."

"I've heard some stories. I wonder if we will see her here?" He handed her a soda, unopened. It was obvious she was suspicious of him, and she had reason. He didn't plan on doing anything to her though, he just wanted to see how awkward she would be with all these people, all of these people who were drinking. "At least try and have some fun, I know it's not something your accustomed to. I wouldn't want to have to force it on you, but I will if I need to."

Yamato paused, then reached out slowly to shake Zack's hand. "Thanks. For helping Takeru, I mean." He wasn't usually the type to warm up to others quickly, but Zack made him feel comfortable. Besides, anyone who helped his brother out was immediatly good in his book.

"Sorry. But we better find the rest of our friends." Excusing himself and Tai from the pair, Yamato tugged his friend into the crowd.

"How would you know I'm not accustomed to fun? I do too have fun!" Shizune was protesting that point just a bit too much. She was a good medical ninja, a good secretary, but not the best of battle ninja... or liar. In fact, most of her life revolved around working, filing paperwork, taking care of TonTon, and trying to make Tsunade work. Not exactly as fun as she would wish.

"If Tsunade-sama were here there was no way we wouldn't notice. For one thing, she'd probably kill me."

"You've made a lot of friends here, Zack." Aerith lifted a hand to wave, watching as the boys dissapeared into the crowd. "Though I'm not surprised."

"Now." Unwavering sweet smile in place, she reached behind to pinch Zack's nose. "You're making my job difficult. And should you be leaving Cloud alone in this mess?"

"I know that, Sora," she said in a mock-annoyed tone. "But there's no harm in being excited, is there?"

Her glance was side-tracked by one approaching figure in particular. "Riku!" After unnecessarily waving him over, she leaned over on the tip of her toes to reach up for a quick hug...after which she caught a good look at his outfit. Insert fake gasp here. "How do you expect to show off those good looks dressed like this?"

Before the rest of her thought could be vocalized, a different one came whooshing into her ears; from Roxas. "I agree - we can have just as good a time without it, if not a better one."
