Rating; PG? (Well, it's just a date. But there's Greed.)
Summary; A double-date nobody really wanted to have.
Log;
There was no real reason for this, and everybody knew so much. The only reaons this arrangement had been made to begin with was a jealous Puppetmaster and a greedy homunculus dating said Puppetmaster's girlfriend or crush or true love - Radu had stopped caring which of these exactly the Terran girl was for him. It didn't really matter anyway; what mattered was that Radu had to appear to a date well-dressed, happy, and... in love with a madman. In love with a psychopath. A man. His superior. Dietrich von Lohengrin, the Rosencreutz Orden's Puppetmaster - Marionettenspieler. The only thing that could make it even worse was the humiliation of the public request he had been forced to make. At least thanks to the deactivation of his Bacillus, he would be able to render himself drunk far more quickly, and so had a chance to emotionally survive this evening.
There was not so much that could go wrong anyway, Radu thought when he closed the door of his flat behind him. Ion at least knew what this was about in truth, and this was the most important thing, because Radu had no desire whatsoever to have to explain him why he was going on a date with the emissary of the Duke of Tigris. The Methuselah lifted his hand and after a second of hesitation, knocked on the door to the flat that two of the three people responsible for this catastrophe shared; Dietrich and Esther, his date for this evening, and the latter's unrequited love.
The situation was perverse in a sense, but there was only so much that could go wrong. It was only for this evening after all. Or at least, Radu tried to convince himself of that while waiting for somebody to open the door.

He crept along slowly, approaching Radu with his shoes in his hand. He stopped just a few feet from him, then inhaled deeply.
"HI RADU!" he yelled, jumping forward to clamp a hand on his shoulder.

How did she find herself in this situation?!
If she did not distract herself from the thought, she would probably back out of it, hence her pacing. Wearing her habit out on a date was absolutely out of the question, so Esther wore the dress that she had bought on a whim.

He ignored the scene outside upon listened to Greed’s loud greeting. Esther was all he cared about at the time. She was so beautiful with that dress, a perfect doll. In his perverse brain, he imagined her covered with the blood of the loved ones she couldn’t save with bright tears streaming out her blue eyes.
“You are beautiful tonight, Esther,” he commented softly, tugging his lips in a gentle smile.

"You're early, Greed," he greeted the homunculus. It was his fault for the most part that this had happened, but Greed was in the end one of the few persons he considered something close to friends.

"Oh man!" he exclaimed, "You look pretty fuckin' hot! Every time I see ya', it's like a feast for my eyes."
He turned his head to gaze at Deitrich, a slightly bastardly smirk on his face, "Uh...You like nice too, Little D. You're lookin' decidely...decidely...you. And by you, I mean metrosexual."
He looked back at Radu and waved him in.
"What are ya' doin', standin' there?"

At his words, she blushed, averting her eyes from Dietrich. His compliment was not something she received and she still had a hard time accepting them without blushing, stammering or a combination of the two.
As if he wanted to top Dietrich in embarrassing Esther, Greed’s greeting to the nun was far worse. She liked the man well enough, his exuberance and his straightforward manner was refreshing, but his choice of words were enough to make her cringe.
“T-thank you,” she finally stammered out, shocked at his rather… unique entrance.
Esther followed Greed’s gaze and gave Radu a weak smile. The other did not look amused at her date’s greeting, but he did not look too pleased to be here either. After all, Greed did mention that the va-Methuselah would not even think of dating Dietrich.
She felt a little annoyed. Dietrich may be looking out for her well-being, but she was not exactly a helpless damsel and Greed seems like a gentleman… despite his choice of words.

Radu glanced at Dietrich, observing his casual dressing style, and searching for a compliment to make the same way Greed had done for Esther. How was he supposed to greet Dietrich anyway? He could hardly just shake his hand or completely skip it, but what else would be appropriate? An embrace? He shuddered at the very thought. After a moment more of hesitant observation, he chose to make the best of his apparent insecurity, lowered his eyes with a weak smile and deliberately took a second longer before he remarked softly, "You look very good."

“Thank you. I didn’t hold my breath for flowers,” Dietrich said, smirking at his subordinate. “Did you change the reservation for four instead of two?” He could change that off the bat when they arrived Pandora but Radu better show he wasn’t useless.

He offered Esther his hand, turning to the girl, "My dear? Would you care for us to go now?"
He turned to look at Radu, another smirk forming on his lips.
"Yo, what's with the tense atmosphere? My entrance wasn't that gaudy, was it? Why don't you give a little hug to Deitrich?"

She looked at the proffered hand for a moment before taking it, giving Greed a smile, “Thank you.” Esther hoped that she did not look as awkward as she felt inside. If she could handle fighting and infiltration. What is a date to her? It is not a big deal, it is not big deal.
Tell yourself that long enough and you may just believe it.
She watched the conversation between the three. Greed is right, the atmosphere is tense. “Let us go before we are late,” Esther said, interrupting.

His face brightened a little from the prior expression of utter confusion and slight shock. "I'm ready," he answered and added, turning to Dietrich and lowering his voice to pretend privacy, "I'm sorry if I'm a bit... nervous." Just then another thing occurred to him. He shot a secret glance at Esther and Greed, and then, copying Greed's behaviour carefully, offered Dietrich his hand. One day he would pay them all back.

“Greed is right. We should go before it’s too late.”

She had never been to Pandora’s before, quite satisfied with making her own simple meals or just eating at Café Juliet or one of the many food stands available in the Square. She looked around the restaurant in wonder, unused to the modern design of the place.
“It-it is a nice place, isn’t it?” she said nervously, feeling out of her element. A lot of the City’s workings confused her. Lost Technology was abound here and Esther has yet to figure out half of how the things here work.
