After a quick smoothing out of his uniform and a discrete hygiene check, Greed cleared his throat and knocked on the door to Cain's living space. For a moment, he considered checking his face for stubble. Then he realized that his facial hair never actually grew.

He was holding a small, packaged cheesecake in his left hand, for a gift. Granted, he didn't know EXACTLY what Cain liked, but hey, who turned down cheesecake? It was heaven, in pastry form.

"Yo, Cain, you ready?" he called out through the door, "It's me. Greed."

"Careful. You might cause me to jump you again," he chided, wrapping the towel around his waist, "Not that I'D mind."

He walked to the kitchen and made strawbettery daiquiris for them both, then led Cain to a patio veranda area.

"Come on over and sit."

"Thank you."

He lounged in a nearby chair, drink in hand.

"You know," he mused, "You aren't at all as harsh as you sometimes seem. It's rather interesting."

He shifted closer and took a sip of his drink, grinning at his drinking partner.

"I treat my lovers right. You assumed I was just some sorta' brute?"

"No, not a brute. But I had expected you to be more selfish, and not nearly so considerate as you're proving to be."

He peered over the top of his glass.

"And I mean 'considerate' in every sense of the word."

"Of course. So I guess this means we're on pretty good terms? It's nice to make new friends," he said, downing his drink, "I make as many as possible."

"I'd like to think we're on excellent terms." He toyed with his glass. "And I agree completely: I like to make as many friends as possible myself...though I think my methods for making friends might be different from yours. No matter."

He raised his glass in a toast.
