Log: Complete

When; August 16th, Evening
Rating; PG-13
Characters; Arthur Hellsing [[livejournal.com profile] arthurhellsing] and Saya [[livejournal.com profile] repairedbywebs]
Summary; After having a nice chat over the network the two decide to meet for dinner at Pandora's despite the rainy weather.
Log;

It had been quite some time since Arthur had spoke with a woman who had enamored him so quickly. Not only was she beautiful but she was also witty and charming. Granted he knew there could be a catch but at this point he was willing to chance it. Women like Saya didn't come along everyday and he would be a fool to let the opportunity to get to know her slip away over what could potentially be nothing.

They had agreed to meet at seven and despite the fact it was raining Arthur managed to be there on time. His overcoat and shoes were a little wet but the umbrella had managed to keep him mostly dry. Now it was only the matter of awaiting his date's arrival.

He was technically dead. But he was here, not rotting, not falling to pieces, genuinely worried.

Only her brother genuinely worried about her.

She smiled again. "I don't care," she said, and she meant it. "Didn't I tell you that earlier?"

"As long as it doesn't bother you that I'm twenty-five," she said, stepping forward to meet him halfway, "and that I live in a warehouse with a talking car," she reached for his hands, taking them in her own, "then we're set, aren't we?"

She smiled truly. Human things.

It was his coolness she would remember that night, later, when she was building her sylie and finally getting dinner she had managed to catch when they had come seeking shelter from the rain. As a spider, the feelings were muted even more, but she remembered how cool his skin had been against her own.

She bid him a fair goodnight and watched him disappear into the night.
