Closed; On going

When; Sunday late morning-ish
Rating; PG
Characters; Donna, Rose & The Doctor
Summary; Donna has been moping since Lee left post 4th Wall. People have noticed and Rose is worried and putting a stop to it.
Log;

Rose is standing a bit awkwardly in front of Donna's door. She's worried about the woman. It's unlike Donna to be so isolated. She's called multiple times through out the week, left voice mail messages, texts, and tried to catch her at work or the Welcome Center. All of that has failed. Earlier she'd shown up at the door with coffee and knocked on the door for several minutes before taking matters into her own hands; so to speak.

She looks over at the Doctor standing next to her. "You can sonic the lock open, yeah?"

He already knows Lee was here - he talked to him, after all. Well, he talked at him, anyway. It was a very lopsided conversation - but it's always important for people to at least acknowledge that sort of thing on their own. According to other people who claim to understand that sort of thing. But knowing it beforehand doesn't really give him much of a headstart on knowing what to do about it. 'Finest' really isn't that good.

It's probably a decent combination of the silent crying and the beckoning that tip him from standing over here to sitting down next to Donna and opening up for a hug.

She hugs Rose, and it's light and she really didn't want Rose to have to deal with silly old Donna along with juggling doctors and cloned almost-timelord-daughters and everything else Rose likes piling onto herself. But once the Doctor sits down, Donna buries her face into his shoulder and lets herself cry. She gives herself a time limit, no more than a few minutes at most to wallow and hate the world, the deities, even Rose and the Doctor himself a little.

Everyone seems to get someone, and Donna doesn't want anything more than she wants Lee and now she's lost him twice. She used to be able to rationalize that he wasn't real, but he'd been here. Really here.

She lifts her head to reach over for a tissue to clear her face and her nose and take a few deep breaths. She'll make more direct eye contact with her friends now, chewing a little nervously at her lip for finally having given in and been weak and sad instead of angry fire and unspent energy.

"Be proud. Thought about setting the deity offices on fire." She doesn't fully smirk, but a corner tweaks up a little.

She's getting a very good hug, too. One of his best sorts of hugs, because he is so very, very sorry. They both lost people in the Library that day but she'd had so much more time to get to know hers. Given everything, that sort of reaction makes sense to him; the sad and the hating. He tends to think he's a bit deserving of the latter in general anyway.

He'll be a little softer than normal but for the most part act normally, because really she shouldn't feel awkward after feeling... so much, he supposes. The comment gets about the same quirked grin in return. 'I'm always proud. They'd likely have been somewhat peeved with that.'
