Log, Essentially Complete but for a few finishing bits.

When; The morning of the 6th
Rating; PG13, because otherwise Lucifer go crezzeh.
Characters; Uriel [livejournal.com profile] malkuthmalakh and Alexiel [livejournal.com profile] againstgod. Then later anyone who wants to stick their oar in (probably the usual gang).
Summary; ON LAST NIGHT'S EPISODE: Rosiel's sale of Uriel to Jack Sparrow seems to have had some rather unhappy consequences, because it meant he had to spend a reasonable amount of time talking to Jan Valentine and Agent Sands, which is enough to send anyone la vida batshit loca. A great deal of pent up frustration finally explodes out of Uriel and brings on a fit of Avenging Rage, manifesting in the appearance of his mask (the thing into which he puts all his anger and rage for when he needs it to punish the wicked, in case you don't know Angel Sanctuary) and a huge ass thunderstorm. Matters were made worse by the arrival of the Kraken at building eight, which caused him to throw a massive shitfit and hurl lightning bolts at the poor, harmless, innocent squidly, and probably catching Ranmaru in the crossfire at some point. He is perching on the crow's nest of the Black Swann, glaring into the turbulent ocean when Alexiel arrives to try and calm him down. Ooh, wasn't that a long summary. Sorry about that.

LOG:

He would punish them all. He could feel their sins, all around him. The city was riddled with sin, rank with it, begging him to cast the mortals into eternal damnation. Fools and traitors and guilt, guilt anger hate EVERYWHERE DRIVING HIM MAD. He should cleanse them all. Raze their souls to the ground with cleansing fire, with the Holy Light of El.

No. No more God. God was dead. Death had deserted him here. There was only justice, and he, the hand of justice. He would begin with the blind one. He could feel his soul from here, a mean little soul full of selfishness and arrogance, on the ship below, with the cowering one Rosiel had sold him to... He would...

He looked up and saw her, radiant and resplendent, and his eyes were filled with the light...

A slight bow, for Uriel, brings him nearly down to Jack's height...though not quite. Thus, the pirate had to reach up to pat the angel on the head (as it seemed the thing to do).
"No call for shame, mate. You did well. Saved lives, I would imagine. I hardly see why anyone should punish you for it."
Also, the idea sits very poorly with Jack. He's never been one for the whip.

The Captain looks up to Alexiel and tilts his head with a smirk as rain drops fall against his cheeks.
"Storms, love, do not worry me. Large and terrible beasts with a taste for my flesh do try on my nerves a bit, however."

Alexiel smiled amused at Jack’s reply and pat. Uriel was overly melodramatic with his need of punishment. “If you go to hell, one day, avoid the circle reigned by Leviathan,” she suggested. “This storm could have been worse if the mask was still on my friend’s face. He would seek to judge and punish everyone’s sins. Even yours, Captain.”

The threat of hell, at this point (and in fact, at most points in his life) caused JAck to laugh. "I shall avoid all circles of hell and go straight to handling the devil himself, should it come to that. I fear this is what I have in place of damnation, however. ... It has its moments."

Uriel's pleasure at being patted amused Jack and he was happy to see it hadn't angered the angel.
"I shall be thankful to you to defend me. You're a good man. Now that the skies are clearing, perhaps I can get to planning what great benevolent thing to do for this city, eh? I've not come up with the proper thing just yet."

“Captain, please, the devil is in the City,” Alexiel commented, humoured. “There is no need to seek Lucifer in Hell. He lives on the rooftop of the twelfth building.” She had no intention to allow a meeting between them. Four Wings lacked sense of humour.

Jack smiled to himself in a rather odd expression of bemusement at the idea of speaking with Lucifer in this place. He made plans to drink with the devil at his first convenience.
"Ah.. good that the devil is comfortably close by, then. Saves on time and travel."

As to commanding his 'slave':
"If you need for commands, mate, I order that you relax a bit. Savvy?"

“Four Wings is extremely anti social,” Alexiel informed Jack, giving a small shrug. “He grants audience to a spare few and likes even less.” She looked terse for a moment; then sighed deeply. “I could speak with him. We live together. He needs to stop being so gloomy.”

"Well, if he's not one for company..." Jack shrugged off the news of Lucifer's loner nature. "It would just be a fine tale to tell...having a chat and a drink with the devil." He grinned widely, still pleased with the idea.

He made the decision to accept Uriel's difficulty with calming himself and relaxing. Somewhere in Jack's mind, the idea began to form that he could help with this trouble.
