Log; ongoing
When; September 25th
Rating; Subject to change, depending on what goes on
Characters; Lady (
quamserena) and Vergil (
devilingenuity)
Summary; Vergil is being a CREEPY STALKER, looking for his little brother and just so happens to be finding Lady as he's out.
Log;
Long evening hadn't wavered, it had to be another ridiculous curse, another one of those long evening ones, the kind that left Lady's timer thrown off. Sort of speak. She'd been adjusting quite nicely, but now that the sun never rose today...Well. It shouldn't be that big of a deal, she was quick to remind herself of that, but now the apartment was her "hole" again. Whatever happened to Richard Zeeman and that-- well, who the hell was that guy? Snape?
That was none of her business, though she didn't really mind the teacher's make-shift classes, consider her one of many in them. It was just the fact it was nice to be able to do something productive. Dante was doing just that, lord only knew where he was, and Lady wasn't about to hunt the man down with a rolling pin. She was not his keeper, he was hardly the one to stay put to begin with, and sure enough, the slob would be back here, that damn dog of his was taking up space whenever Lady had opted to sit on the floor, the large German Shepard was not too far behind. It wasn't the fact she hated the dog, it was so huge and it would never leave her alone.
They say the ticking around here got worse when you had no company, but Lady never even attempted to find out, securing another spot on the ground -- sometimes she just refused to sit on the couch altogether -- trying to stitch up a tear in a "good" shirt. Good being fairly worn down, but still usable. And, of course, Dante's large mass of a dog was not too far away; he could even alert her to company, since Lady didn't even bother to keep an ear out for Dante's return.

The fact that the streets were so full of life due to the festival the citizens were pending celebration of for later that day was no help at all. But he managed to do it, by some grace of God, he supposed.
It reeked after his brother, and after another, the structure before him. A female, and it felt as though she was still there. There was a musty, animalistic smell, but that mattered little. All of it did, which was exactly why Vergil walked up to the entrance and after applying a hand right next to the primary knob, pushed to snap it out of its settled position. A crack of wood from straining metal lock joints shot through the air, but he still didn't care as he pushed in.
Dante was a valuable asset to him, and he was going to make sure he thoroughly understood Dante before engaging him once more.

But that bark drove her nuts. Sighing to herself and peeling off the headphones, jerking around, realizing that...
What the fuck, the door is locked. To say she wasn't alarmed would be a lie, seizing the large dog, Lady had to shoo him off, "Not now! Worst...time ever! Get out of here, Luce!" Thankfully, without much of an argument, a few large barks, the dog hadn't swarmed the "company" at the door, just as Lady had practically scrambled to her feet, turning sharply at who had the nerve to burst through here, mind racing about, knowing all too well the nearest and available weapon was not at her reach.
Well. Shit. That was a son of Sparda all right, just not the right one and it left Lady standing there, face torn between shock and an abrasive glare.

The place was dirty, and it was dark. Vergil wasn't one to mind dark and dreary all that often, except when it was dirty all the same. There were a few presences within that whispered to Vergil at a volume that was all including incoherent, and he tilted his head to the side in an attempt to hear more clearly.
"Brother-dear, brother-dear, what have you been up to?"

"Dante isn't here," Lady finally managed to say, ignoring the fact his presence left her unnerved at the moment. She doubt he believe her or not, and getting into an argument with the other brother wasn't at the top of Lady's list. It might be the better option to completely act normal, but it played to her paranoia, to watch him as he was looking. Or whatever he was doing.
