Log; on-going
When; October 3rd, evening
Rating; NC - 17
Characters; Tony Foster
darkest0knight and Lee Nicholas
killerdimples
Summary; Lee and Tony go on a date at the Lux, although this particular date has "rules".
Log;
They changed in separate rooms: partly because getting undressed together was a surefire path to the kind of distraction they didn’t need if they were going to go out tonight, but mostly because Tony didn’t really need Lee seeing him struggle with his tie like an awkward kid dressing for church.
Running his hands through his hair one last time, Tony stood in front of the mirror and tried to decide whether or not he looked as uncomfortable as he felt. Suits were really not his thing, although this one fit him well and it didn’t look like a reject from the seventies like his old suit he used to go to job interviews in. Still, it wasn’t too bad.
The jacket was one he’d bought recently, the other he’d worn to Walter and Alucard’s wedding hadn’t fit too well in the shoulders anymore. Black, to go with the slacks, and faintly pinstriped in grey. A thin black sweater under that, plus the damned tie at his throat and he was almost presentable.
’I look,’ he twitched a lock of hair off his face and watched in dismay as it immediately fell back into its original unruly place, ‘I look like a total dork.’

He pulled the tight black shirt over his chest and eased it down, then shrugged on his leather bike jacket. He looked in the mirror - a quick glance - and then turned and walked out of the room.
"Hey Tony," he called from the hall, "You ready yet?"
He crossed his arms and leaned against the wall, waiting for Tony to come out of his - their - room. The other room was now officially for guests.

"Yeah, just a sec," Tony called back, shrugging his shoulders and feeling the heaviness of the jacket move with them.
Then he fiddled with the cuffs of his sleeves for as long as he thought he could get away with before Lee called again before taking a deep breath and walking decidedly towards the bedroom door.
He fried demons. He should be able to stand a couple hours being strangled by his tie and refraining from touching Lee's leather-clad body, right?
Right.
"Don't laugh," he warned as he pushed open the door and stepped out into the hallway.

He wasn't lying. Tony looked adorable in his suit - totally out of ease, completely unsure, but cute just the same. Tony was the kind of guy who would probably look awkward in suits all his life, while Lee was the kind of guy who modeled them, but it didn't matter.
He reached his hand out. "I picked up the bike earlier today from Saya, I figured we could ride to Lux, or we could just take the subway. Which do you prefer?" He wondered, briefly, if hand holding was against the rules too.

Tony tore his eyes from the tight line of Lee's legs and the way his shirt stretched over his chest long enough to flash the other man a warning look.
"I look like a guy being eaten by a suit."
He eyed the hand Lee offered and cocked his head to the side. Hand-holding didn't count, right? It was hardly the kind of touching they'd indulged in lately.
"Bike'd be faster," he said finally, linking his fingers with Lee and letting the other man pull him along.

He led Tony to the bike and looked at it for a moment. Of course, he would have to drive - there was just no way Tony was driving his bike, especially while Lee was sober and able. "Okay. Before we get to Lux, you're allowed to grab me around the waist, and after we leave. Because rules or no rules, you're not falling off the back of this bike, okay?"
He lifted one leg and settled onto the Harley and waited for Tony to mount up behind him.

He searched with his feet until he found purchase on the rests, then circled Lee's waist with his arms, holding on loosely for the moment.
"Just don't drive like a crazy person."

They raced through the streets - fast enough to make Lee happy and slow enough to be cautious. In the City, though, there really was no reason to be overly worried - no traffic, and a total of three cars made driving pretty safe.
He turned into the street where Lux was located and slowed down, then stopped the bike entirely in front of the lounge. The other benefit of no cars was the ease of finding a parking space. He helped Tony get down and smiled. "Come on, I made reservations."
no subject
Obviously, Lee drove way too fast.
By the time he was swinging himself down off the bike, with Lee's help, the vibrations from the ride had already made his body sensitive and jittery. He avoided Lee's smile, tips of his ears already turning red, and turned towards the entrance.
"Great," he exhaled, tugging fretfully at his sleeves. "Let's go in."
no subject
He could have just asked Tony - Will you jack off while I watch? but what fun would that have been? He walked ahead of Tony instead, pushing the thoughts away and entering the club. A young lady with a mask greeted them, and Lee softly told her about their reservations. She led them to a semi-private booth and left them there.
The jazz was great. The owner of the club had good taste. Lee smiled over at Tony. "Too fancy, still?"
no subject
"It's still a little more ritzy then I'm used to," he admitted to Lee. "But I think I can handle it."
Should they order wine? It seemed appropriate, but Lee was going to be driving later. Did he even know what a good wine choice would be?
no subject
Lee grinned. He was sort of glad to have a job now. Watching Tony was a luxury, after spending all that time trying to avoid looking at him. Did he always have that dimple in his chin? He'd definitely have to explore that later. You're staring, Nicholas. He's probably internally freaking out.
no subject
"Um..." Tony shifted his gaze to his napkin, which he was twisting slowly around his fingers. "Budd? Is that the guy you're always trying to keep out of the wine?"
no subject
Lee paused. "You okay there, Tony?"
no subject
"Hey," he said, a slight pout to his lips. "I might need that later, you know."
He wasn't too sure he wanted to hear about Budd's adventures at the stripper bar. Especially not with Lee grinning at him like that. Stupid dimples.
no subject
He laughed. "You know," he began, "And you're not allowed to consider this teasing, because it's not, but you can deal with giving me head and you can deal with sex and kissing but you can't sit in front of me and talk to me." He smiled to show that it wasn't a serious issue.
"Tell me something fun. Something funny. Anything." He lessened the smile, knowing that Tony had a weakness for his dimples. "Come on. I'm human too."
no subject
Something fun? Something funny? Damned if he could think of anything to say that didn't sound stupid.
"...Did Henry really try to wear that awful sweater out in public?"
Because talking about you ex is always prime conversation material on a date. Good job.
no subject
Lee shook his head. "So I made him take it off, and he insisted that if we were going to a gay club, we would have to fit in. Honestly. How is it no one pegged him for a vampire before?"
Lee rubbed his wrist at the memory. That was the night that Henry had basically pinned Lee to a chair and fed. Talk about a nice segue.
no subject
Tony remembered a certain evening when he told Henry to put on a black shirt instead. So, of course the man had worn blue, because nobody told Henry Fitzroy what to do.
'Royal bastard,' Tony thought, fondly.
"He writes romance novels, did he tell you that? Those really horrible ones you find at the drug store with Fabio on the cover with some tramp falling out of her shirt."
no subject
At the mention of romance novels, Lee started to snicker. "No, he didn't tell me what he did." Suddenly the thought occurred to him. "Shit. He's not secretly Elizabeth Fitzroy, is he? My mom loves those damned books!"

He reached for the soda the waitress set in front of him and took a long swallow, then rested the cool glass against his lips and chin for a second. It wasn't exactly warm in the club, but for some reason he felt a little flushed.
Probably the tie's fault. He loosened the knot at his throat slightly with a finger.
no subject
He paused. Shit, I really want to kiss him right now.
They were the kind of thoughts he had a lot back in Vancouver in the early, awkward days. Now it was just annoying because he really wanted to see Tony masturbate.
That and his pride was on the line. He took a sip of the soda and watched as Tony looked flushed. "You okay?" he asked cautiously.
no subject
"You're actually planning to tell her?" he inquired, nervously recalling his own parents' response to finding out he was, in his father's words, 'a dirty, cocksucking faggot'.
"Do you think she'll be upset?"
no subject
He thought about him telling his mom and finally nodded. "Yeah. I'd tell her. I don't think she'd be too upset, after she got over the fact that she'll never see grandchildren, or something." He shrugged. "My mom's pretty liberal, you know."
He flicked his eyes over Tony's lips again. "I don't know. I'm lucky that way."

She looked exactly like the kind of mother Tony remembered seeing on television and in movies. And she'd pinched Amy's cheeks and called her sweetheart, which, all by itself meant that she was an awesome, awesome woman.
"And yes, I'm sure I'm fine," Tony said, combing fingers through his hair. "Why, do I look not-fine?"
no subject
He remembered his mom on set. She had baked the entire production staff cookies and brought a big basket for Mason and CB. Only his mother would remember everyone's name involved with the worst vampire show ever produced. "She liked you," Lee admitted after a moment. "She said you looked like a 'nice boy.'"
Don't add that she thought he was dating Amy, Nicholas, that's not a nice thing to say to a guy you plan on... his thoughts censored themselves before he could give anything away.
