Log;

Chrome thumbed the side of her laptop, glancing up to check that Hibari still hadn't moved from the bed she'd commandeered to hold him. The apartment was pretty empty and she still didn't know where the original owner had disappeared to. She supposed it didn't really matter too much, though.

Ken had sounded as if he were coming over soon and, as loud and violent as he was, she was almost glad. Being around Hibari too long made her more than a little nervous. And, while Ken wasn't much of a step up, he was still part of her real family, instead of the Vongola family she shared with Hibari.

One of Mukuro’s dogs was coming to greet them, and it was enough to make Hibari rise up on his elbows within the bed and search for his tonfa. He had no intentions of taking this lying down. He didn’t care how damaged his body currently was as long as he could move. And even if he couldn’t, he’d force himself passed his limitations before. He would do it again for the sake of biting another to death.

Ignoring whatever orders were given to him to get plenty of rest, Hibari planted his feet on the ground and pushed himself up. “Where are my tonfa?”

Well, neither of them would be disappointed, that was for sure, although the gangly form that came crashing through the sunward window in a shower of broken glass was probably not what either of the apartment's occupants had had in mind.

Ken had never been very prone to fitting inside the box, though. In two loping movements he'd thrown himself at Hibari and tackled him against the wall on the other side of the bed with another resounding crash. He'd learned a--sort of--lesson last time, after all; don't let the bastard get to his tonfa, or better yet, don't let him move at all.

"D'ya wait long, duckling?" was breathed into Hibari's face with a feral grin. Chrome was paid no mind at all.

The dog had the nerve to breath on him and crush him against the wall. If Hibari was at his full strength, he could have easily avoided the assault and bitten the animal to death in no time. Instead, his bones ached and protested under the weight, several wounds re-opening and dripping blood.

Gritting his teeth, he tried ignoring the pain and shoving the other boy off. “Never mind,” he deadpanned to Chrome while locking eyes with Ken. “You’re weak enough that I don’t even require weapons.”

Ken, meanwhile, had barked a short, automatic, "Shaddap!" to Chrome before circling in towards Hibari again. He was already in his cheetah channel, the better to keep up with the fast little bastard currently eyeing him, and then in a flash and a snarl he was on Hibari again, shoving him backwards with all his weight towards a window and digging his nails in gleefully wherever there was blood.

This was going to be a short, sweet, and silent, wasn't it?

Ignoring the girl entirely as she had no place in a fight between the two of them, Hibari grasped Ken's wrists and squeezed inwards, forcing them away from his person. He was a slight disadvantage without his weapon, but he wouldn't let that stop him from biting the pesky animal to death.

"Wrong," he murmured, shoving Ken back even though the effort brought forth more blood from his wounds.
