The Raven was a busy place, as usual, but Anita didn't mind. She didn't mind perching in the shadows besides the bar, sharp eyes keeping watch over the patrons. She was keeping a look out for trouble as much as she was everyone's safety, since there'd been a few recent murders in the city.

She'd been careful to keep out of Asher's way; trying to keep from seeing him until he wanted to see her. She'd delivered her note and made the first step, and her time among the vampires of Jean-Claude's kiss told her than no vampire moved until he or she was good and ready.

It didn't help that she really wanted to see him, of course, but she'd be patient.
