Summary; After their rather...interesting encounter during the last curse, Kakuzu decides to actually wine and dine Nanao to make up for whatever was bothering her.

It didn't take much to make Kakuzu regret doing something -- in this City especially -- but, honestly, he had no qualms about doing what he was about to be doing. Hidan would probably have bitched about it (She's a goddess of death, man! That's exactly the opposite of what you want, isn't it? -- he could hear him say), but Kakuzu felt strangely...safe wasn't the word, but nearer to it than anything else was exactly what he felt whenever he was near Nanao, and that was different.

Kakuzu needed to feel that again. Knocking on the door to her office, the once reviled Missing-nin swallowed, and then: "Ms. Ise? Are you there?"

Kakuzu took what he saw in like a man appraising a fine piece of art would have, his dark emerald eyes imprinting every nuance of how Nanao looked and acted as she approached him onto the forefront of his brain. She was...honestly, the girl was nothing like he had expected a Shinigami to look or to act like, and it was throwing him off; was making him feel claustrophobic in her small office.

"Where would you like to go?" he asked, bowing slightly as he held the door open for her.
