The girl seemed nice enough, Kamui tried to remind himself as he attempted to navigate the newly-upgraded city. Nice, and not insane like half of the population here, so maybe... they could be friends (probably not, though)? Or, in the least, she wouldn't make fun of him for being a socially inept moron.

Once inside the proper building, he found his way to apartment 84, knocking on the door and looking down at the tray of cookies he had. The smart thing to do would be to just drop them at the doorstep and make a run for it, really. At least then he wouldn't have to awkwardly stubble through a hello and goodbye.

Ran smiled brightly, placing her elbows on the table and hands on her chin. She almost looked like a happy child if she didn't have a grown up body.

Cute came to mind again, Kamui smiling at her and leaning back. At least he didn't look so tense anymore. Course, the nice-guy thing made him flush a little once more, but he just... didn't handle compliments from a new person very well. "I dunno about that. I'm just easy is all."

He blinked, thought, and then facepalmed. That had to have been the stupidest thing he'd said all night. "That so didn't come out right."

Ran just laughed.

"it's all good, I didn't think anything about it."

Kamui smiled, pleased she didn't think him strange for saying such a thing. "Thanks. I'm kind good at the whole foot-mouth thing. Happens a lot." Way more than a lot, actually: it seemed as though things slipped out of his mouth before they could get properly processed in his brain. Got him in trouble sometimes.
