When: November 13, Night
Rating: Starts out PG-13, possibly moving into NC-17 territory
Characters: Greed
so_very_greedy and Kamui
fateisabitch
Summary: After some coaxing, Greed manages to convince Kamui to go out with him. Would Subaru approve of this?
Log:
Greed impatiently tapped his foot as he waited for his date to show up outside of Pandora's. Certainly, he had given good directions, so where the hell WAS Kamui? Did he get cold feet? He really was a sensitive boy, after all.
"Damn it," he said, getting out his communicator, "I'll see where h-"
He stopped as he smelled Kamui's scent on the air. He was here, after all. Greed could see him in the distance.

"Hey, um... hi?" he smiled sheepishly up at the other, hugging himself self-consciously. The teenager had actually dressed up a little -nothing too drastic-, wearing nice pants and a long-sleeved shirt that was actually fitted (even if the sleeves were too long and covered most of his hands). Not something he would wear normally, thinking it made him look too feminine and skinny. "How are you...?"

He greeted the hostess at the door and walked with her to their reserved table. She placed the menus neatly with napkins and bid them to sit. At a gesture from Greed, she bowed and returned to the door.
"So, I hope things are well for you?" he stated, lighting some candles between them and opening his menu. He quickly perused the contents, eyes scanning quickly over the options.

"Y-yeah. Been kinda bored, I guess?" He hid behind his menu a little, blushing because he just... wasn't used to this. "W-what have you been up to?" It dawned on him that he might regret asking.

He kept what he wanted in memory and placed the menu aside. He glanced up and noticed the tension in his date.
"Hey," he said, reaching over to tilt Kamui's chin up, "Relax. I'm not gonna' bite."
no subject
"No, I know, I... I just..." Chin in Greed's grasp, Kamui glanced away, blushing harder. "I just kinda never, you know, been on a real date before. Nothing at all like this." Still so very awkward.

"U-um..." he looked to the menu, having been to this place before, but... well, that was a while ago. The menu had changed, and now he didn't know what the hell half of it was. "You can choose for me? I'm not picky."

He called over a waiter and hastily gave him the order.
"Two orders or fettucini alfredo, along with some of your famous bread and two bottles of red wine. Quickly please."
He turned back to his date as the waiter scurried off.
"That should do it."

At least, Kamui hoped that was the case. Because him and alcohol? Had proven to be a very bad mix. For one, he got drunk easy; for another... he either got stupid while drunk or very... um... suggestive.

He leaned his head on his arm and grinned at his date.
"So, what's been up with you and yours?"
no subject
"Your life is more interesting, right?"
no subject
He reached over to place his hand on Kamui's, gently rubbing a thumb across the top of it.
"Come on, don't be shy."

"Ya' know, I'm quite a problem solver. You can always tell ol' Greed. Come on, sweetness, let it all out."

"Okay," he said, leaning in, "Give up the goods, then. Let's hear it."
He pulled the other male in closer.
[[ooc: Prepare for ranty emo Kamui!]]
Kamui leaned forward, crossing his arms on the table and resting his forehead against them. "My world's Subaru... I love him, still. It's stupid, entirely stupid, but I do. I can't help it. He... he saved me and helped me through so much, but... I couldn't do anything for him. Subaru was kinda... obsessed with this one asshole, and no matter what... only that man could make him truly happy. I tried, I really did, but still... I only made him smile a little, and then... then the man died and he broke, betrayed me, and I thought it was over, but here... here..."
His voice caught uncontrollably, burrowing deeper and damn it, he was not going to cry. "Ranmaru. He made Subaru so happy so quickly, fixed him as I'd tried to. In such a short time, he got and did everything I had wanted, and I... I was just left there. Worthless again, a failure, and now... what is there?" When he finally looked back up at Greed, his eyes showed his heartbreak, even though he laughed pathetically. "Sorry. Shouldn't have rambled off like that."
Re: [[ooc: Prepare for ranty emo Kamui!]]
He pulled Kamui in closer, bidding him to lean against him.
"Trust me, you're better off forgettin' the past. Ya' can't change what's come before, you only learn from it. There's always another chance as long as you're still alive."
Greed tilted Kamui's head up and smiled, running a finger under his chin.
"Take me for instance! Sure there's things I regret, but I LEARN from them. You humans let the little things bog ya' down. It's only by rising up against adversity that any of your species can grow."

He gestured witn an outstretched arm to the oncoming waiter, who wordlessly slid the food onto the table. He placed the wine down after and quickly left.
"Hey," he cooed, "Don't worry, alright? Some things ya' just can't fix. It takes time to get back to normal. You just need things to distract you, that's all."
no subject
Once again, his eyes fell to the wine, trying to distract himself with taking a bite of his food, but he was curious. "What does wine taste like?" He'd had champagne once, and of course, thanks to the curses, beer. Never wine, though.

"Don't be shy, take a big swig," he said, stabbing a bit of fettucini, "You'll like it. It's kinda' fruity."
He twirled a bit of the pasta on his fork and popped it into his mouth.
"Nice stuff!"
no subject
But, he reminded himself, he'd better slow down with it and eat; otherwise, he'd get drunk faster.
no subject
He gobbled up a bit more of his food, savoring the alfredo sauce that covered his pasta.
"I didn't want any negative feelings afterward."
no subject
"Don't think Subaru was too pleased, though. Told me not to make a habit of it."
no subject
He placed a hand around Kamui's side, pulling him closer.
"So how much do you remember about it, hm?"
no subject
"I... um..." Kamui chewed on his bottom lip, still rather embarrassed by the question. "I mean, it's not like memory loss was part of that curse, so I remember... you know... everything."
no subject
"Really? Nice to know I left an impression, then. I certainly remember your sensitive spots," he grinned, sliding his other hand silently under Kamui's shirt, to rub it's palm against his lower back, "You think you might like that again? I could make a nice, secluded spot for us back at the temple."
no subject
"Hmm... I dunno..." Subaru would probably flip out if he did that again with this man, but... "Might get in trouble, you know."
no subject
The hand on his back was removed, then placed on the back of his neck, gently massaging the muscles there.
"You need to just have a break where you can forget all your problems and just enjoy yourself, right? A fun little romp in the springs, right? Besides, who is going to see us? You don't really have to tell him unless he asks."
no subject
"And at least you're nice to me, and I know you a little better now." And besides, if Subaru did find out and said anything about it, he could fall back on the human need thing? Subaru had someone to take care of that need for him; why should Kamui suffer just because no one would stay with him?

"Yeah. I'll come back with you."

He rose up and offered his arm.
"Shall we go? It's not to far a distance from here, so we should be able to make good time up to the temple."
