Log: Ongoing
When; November 15, day (Backdated)
Rating; G
Characters; Romeo
irislover, Juliet
rozeniris, and Tybalt
iris_aegis
Summary; In an attempt to recover from the stressful situations the City has thrown at them lately, the family goes to visit the ocean for the first time.
Log;
With a flurry of feathers, the black pegasus landed just beyond the sand dunes, where the ground was still firm. Tybalt slid from the animal's back and gently patted her muzzle as she bent to snack on the grass growing at the edge of the beach. Knowing she was well-trained enough to stay where he left her, he removed the picnic basket he'd tied to the saddle and turned, scanning the edge of the beach for Romeo and Juliet's arrival. Though flying was much faster than walking, if they had used that strange 'gate' to reach the shore they shouldn't be too far behind.
The day was crisp but the sun was warm, and Tybalt found himself feeling far more relaxed than he had in a while. Romeo had been right to plan this outing. All three of them needed it, after the string of bad luck they'd experienced lately. For a few hours, he could allow himself to not worry... either about his family's saftey, or what was waiting for them back in Neo Verona.

Wiping the sweat of his forehead, Romeo looked up at the sunny sky, admiring the strange, white birds flew ahead, towards a clearer horizon without the endless gallery of browns and oranges that Autumn painted on the trees. He couldn’t know they were seagulls, but he instantly, smiled at Juliet and offered his hand, smelling something different in the air.
“I think it’s just after this hill, Juliet!”

But now, as she traveled ahead with Romeo, ready to meet with Tybalt, she shifted the basket she was carrying to her opposite arm and smiled, extending a hand to Romeo to clasp his hand.
"You're looking much happier today. Do you think Tybalt is there already?"
She knew it was taking them time to get there, but at the same time... it had been a while since she'd gotten to be alone with Romeo, and missed it.
