Summery: The plan for how to get on board and acquire the aliens' logs seemed simple enough when spoken about; Zhuge Liang's magic would help Amanda and Mitsuhide get on board, Amanda would hack the computers, and Mitsuhide would keep the two of them safe. Putting it into place would probably be more complicated...

Amanda watched out the window, waiting for Mitsuhide to arrive. The door was locked to hopefully slow down any of the aliens who decided to try to make a return trip to the flat she's shared with Waverly who'd been taken not long before. Remembering what happened, she scowled vaguely for a moment before shaking her head to clear it; anger wouldn't solve anything. The best she could do for those who'd been taken was to acquire all the information she could about the aliens, including their logbook. It was that thought which lead to the current plan of somehow managing to get aboard to hack into the alien systems... Magic was an unknown to her, so anything relying on that was in the category of somehow.
She wondered how things would go after he arrived, and the two of them set out to see Zhuge Liang. There wouldn't be much chance to change plans or to turn back after seeing the strategist, but it wasn't like she wanted to. Amanda knew herself well enough to be certain that she would either have a severe attack of conscience or go insane simply waiting for the situation to resolve itself. While she thought about what would happen next, she absentmindedly tapped the bag holding what she plans to take with her; since it was only a few, fairly small things, she doubted that it would effect the magic that would be used to take them there.
An unknown means to allow for dealing with an unknown force... There was something almost fitting about that.
