He looked over, barely glancing at the group of attendees behind the angel. Oh, yes. Here was nobility. He could smell it a mile away.

"Not in the least." Feeling this was a bit short, he went on. "Commander Vimes."

"Gabriel," a standard extension of hand to shake, "how do you do?"
