Summary; Henry goes to get Tony's sleep potion and Zev's there for Lee.

Zev didn't know the entire story of what had happened between Lee and Tony, he was pretty sure of that. And while he was telling himself to remain neutral until he had all the facts, he couldn't help but feel for Lee. The actor was genuinely upset and he was planning to talk to Tony when he had the chance.

But for now, he was camped out on Tony and Lee's couch listening to his mp3 player. The music was playing at a low volume and he wasn't really paying attention, it was really just there to fill in the background noise.

Henry still hadn't decided if he was angry with Lee or not. He did know that the hunter wanted to hurt the other man for the pain he'd brought Tony, and he hid the desire behind the mask that Tony often referred to as his Prince of Men face. It was the closest he could come to neutrality at the moment. He wasn't interested in dealing with Lee just now. Tony would need clean clothes, and ostensibly a sleeping potion to help him get through the night without dreams. Henry would have preferred to use his own power to put Tony under, but he had chosen not to press the point.

The front door wasn't honestly an impediment, but since this wasn't war, Henry had the grace to knock rather than let himself in.

Zev's eyes were closed when Henry knocked on the door, not to say he was asleep, but if left undisturbed he probably would have. As it was he pulled the headphones down around his neck and stretched, wincing as his should popped. Sleeping while sitting up on a couch wasn't the smartest thing to do.

He readadjusted his yarmukle and went to answer the door, stopping to check the peep hole before opening the door to see Henry. he wasn't familiar with the writer but knew he was one of Tony's friends. "Yeah?

Good. Lee hadn't opened the door. Despite what Tony had asked of him, Henry wasn't certain it was a good idea that he be face-to-face with the actor right now.

"I came to pick up a few things for Tony."

Listening to Henry Zev stepped to the side to let him in, the man's countenance seemed strained, and definitely displeased. All Zev could manage was to try and look like he wasn't about to fall asleep standing up.

"Lee's staying in the guest room, so you should be able to get what you need."

Henry nodded as he moved past the musician into the entryway. He knew the layout of the apartment from his first night in the City, and he could hear Lee's heartbeat in the room that had been indicated.

"How is he?" the vampire asked, because Tony had wanted to know.

"He's upset." Zev said honestly. "He feels like he screwed things up and he's really regretting it." He ran a hand through his hair and closed the door after Henry had come in all the way.

"How's Tony?"

"Upset," Henry replied simply, already walking towards the bedroom that Tony and Lee had shared. "He asked me to check on Lee while I'm here." Now that he had, Henry intended to gather enough of Tony's personal effects to get him through the next few days, and leave Zev to cope with Lee. He stepped into the couple's room, took note of the mess, and began to search for the required items.

Zev followed, though left some distance between them. "Lee just got to sleep." There was an unspoken warning not to disturb the sleeping man in his words, though in reality there was little Zev could probably do if henry did want to disturb Lee.

He could have given Zev a message to relay to Lee. He could have gone to Lee himself, woken the man up, and had a talk with him. He could have given Lee an extremely good reason to be terrified of him. Henry did none of these things. Instead, he silently located the sleeping potion that Tony needed, selected several sets of clean clothing, and packed it all away in a bag. Henry Fitzroy, Duke of Richmond and Somerset, Earl of Nottingham, Knight of the Garter, vampire, was running a common errand for a boy plucked from the streets, and he didn't mind one bit.

Before he left, he said to Zev, "You can tell Lee that Tony is safe."
