Summary; .

The ship groaned as the dragon leapt out of the cargo bay she'd been held in. She nodded her thanks to Vash and looked around her, trying to seek out those she'd been asked to help. She couldn't wait long, but she knew if she simply sent out an invitation for rides she'd be swamped, and possibly so overcome by people that she wouldn't be able to fly. First the requested ones. Then the rest.

But there wasn't much time at all. She was already risking failure and a cold cold death by trying to attempt a leap into flight directly from the ship, near it's steam pillars. Fortunately there were no sails here.  She'd sent vash to gather those that needed saving. Time for her to announce her availability

"Hear me! I seek first the comrades of those who helped me escape. After, I can carry some of you who have no other means of escape."

She growled loudly, and flared her wings "If you are foolish enough to fight among yourselves to get to me, then I will leave now. We don't have time to waste on chaos!" And the glow of fire built in her jaws to further emphasize the point.

[OOC note: Feel free to presume getting a ride on Angelus' back. Especially if you're a friend of Vash, Viral, or Dresden]

"Uhm... excuse me," the soft-spoken girl said as she appeared around the corner, calm and determined even as the people around them scurried about in panic.

Drinking in the sight of the magnificent creature, Nia gasped. It was unlike anything she had seen before, even if it was somewhat familiar. There were people with scales and fangs where she had come from, but nothing quite like this.

Nia gathered her courage and approached the dragon. She had to trust her friend. "My name is Nia. Viral-san said to meet you here."

But speaking of Viral, she wondered what plans the Beastman had to escape if he had not planned on using the dragon. Her resolve faltered slightly, but they were running out of time. She had to trust Viral to escape safely.

Smiling, the former princess tilted her head with a smile. "Gokigenyou."

The dragon looked down at the girl, inwardly impressed by her calm, and, of course, expectant of the girl's gasp of awe.

The flame still burning between her teeth, she didn't speak, but the eyes she turned to the girl were accepting, and she lowered her neck down to the ground, moving her wing to act as a footstool, so that Nia would have an easier time climbing up. Caim had been able to leap on her back in flight, but she knew far better than to expect such athletic ability from everyone.

Graciously accepting the dragon's invitation with a bow, Nia bounded towards her and crawled onto her back without any further hesitation. In times of such danger, there was no time to panic or worry! There was only time for action!

"Uwaah~" She uttered in awe, enthralled by the amazing creature. "Thank you very much for your help, you are very kind."

Her brow furrowed then as she watched the scene unfurling around them.

"Let us save as many people as possible."

The dragon lifted her head slowly once the girl had climbed on, not allowing anyone to rush her senselessly. Arcing her neck, she moved her gaze to the girl and nodded, agreeing to help as many as possible.

Tilting her head skyward, she sent off a bright shot of flame as a signal to those searching for them. Then spoke in her growling way "I cannot wait long, but I will save those that I can."

She roared impatiently. Where were the others she was to help? Were people idiotic enough to reject her help?
