"Sorry, McKay. Reeve may fit your criteria, but Yuffie... well, I think I'll try an' keep you two apart for a bit."
She offers McKay a smile, well aware she looks like a particularly vindictive Mack truck ran her over a few dozen times.
"Good t' see you, McKay."

"Oh, shut up, McKay." Said without heat. "Ain't as bad as it looks, I told you."

Cadman shakes her head, grins again. "Least you're honest about it."
She shrugs. "Somewhere 'round here, yeah. Last I checked, was in the bathroom, under the sink."

She shrugs, her tone slightly clipped. "Yeah, well. Keller ain't here, is she?"
She stands, stretches. "I'll get the kit."

She sighs. "McKay, about earlier..." A beat, as she tries to figure out what to say, and how to say it. "Were you fuckin' with me? You've never... well, it's not like you ever seemed too interested, back home."

Cadman cocks her head, moves slowly closer to where Rodney's sitting, putting an extra swing in her hips for his benefit.
"Ain't exactly an answer, McKay. Didn't ask if you meant t' say it; asked if you meant it."

Cadman places a knee on either side of Rodney's lap, straddling him- thank Christ for the painkillers she snatched from Jack's place, because without 'em she'd be a whimpering ball of pain on the floor after that move- and leans in, grinning widely. "Come on, McKay, level with me."
So sue her, Rodney McKay was hot. All the brains and the solid body, stronger than he knew. (She may have... experimented a bit, while she was trapped in his head. What, like any girl wouldn't. McKay's a damn good looking man, and who in their right mind gives up a chance to try out the opposite plumbing, as it were, first hand? Come on.)

"Ain't like I'm lookin' for anythin'... athletic, t'night." She smiles down at McKay again, less amused and more... well, not that she'll admit it, but 'tender' would probably work here. "Jus' a kiss'd be nice, for now."

She places a hand on McKay's chin and tilts it up, forcing him to look her in the eye. "Now, you can jus' spit out what's buggin' you, or I can pester you more. Your choice, baby."

Cadman blinks, actually surprised into silence for a moment.
"...McKay, you're kidding me, right?"
She sighs, and reaches a hand up from its resting place on McKay's shoulder and lightly slaps him across the back of the head.
"McKay, you moron, I'm a little banged up, not brain damaged. I'm a Marine; this is business as usual for me, an' you know it."
She rolls her eyes and kisses McKay's forehead affectionately. "So your chivalry is appreciated, but also completely ridiculous."

"Nope." A quick grin. "Come on, McKay. Have I ever given up a chance to needle you?"

So McKay brings out her not-so-hidden inner twelve year old. Sue her.

"You'll be okay, McKay. An' hey, ain't so bad once you get settled in."
