log; ongoing
When; May 2nd
Rating; PG-13
Characters; Hiou Shizuka [
madly_blooming] and Tohno Shiki [
concept_killer]
Summary; In which a lolita vampire will probably nibble on a teenage boy.
Log;
This 'City,' nameless and faceless, had been strangely accommodating, but Shizuka attributed this to her younger, fairer form. Then again, most places would have understandably been hesitant to house and accept a mysterious teenager, but as far as she had seen, this was not most places. Point in fact, the fountain was alcoholic, the apartment complexes had no apparent end, and magicians and vampires alike ran rampant.
And people volunteered to be food.
Definitely the sort of place Shizuka could get used to. Her stomach rumbled loudly and her teenage body had the good grace to blush, though she herself could find nothing shameful in her hunger besides the fact that she had allowed herself to go hungry in the first place. Even with all the magically adept and warrior types populating the streets, there had been just as many plain humans. However, it was too early in her stay to compromise herself by grabbing one and bleeding it dry.
She stopped outside building ten, tapping a finger to her chin as she contemplated its height and made a rough estimation of how many floors there were. That Tohno person - Shikan? - could be anywhere and she had yet to know him by scent.

Either way, he was going to have to restrain his instincts to kill this girl. So he laid there and waited. She caught his eye after a short while. Fighting off sleep, he raised his hand to get her attention.
"Hey!" he let out, letting the fatigue from his anemia drain into his voice.

"Are you alright? You look tired." She cooed, dropping to her knees beside him. Without invitation, she smoothed the hair away from his forehead with cold hands.

Thump Thump
Thump Thump
He could feel the heart beat in his head, almost like a pressure against his eyes. His eyes...
Shiki slowly sat up, pulled off his glasses, and put them in his coat pocket. If he was going to do this, he wanted to be prepared in case something did go wrong. His vision became cluttered with lines and dots, many of them carving over the girl. A part of him wanted to grab his knife and slice her into pieces but he resisted that, for a greater good.
"I'm fine. Just tired from running around all day. That can really wear a guy down."

"If you say so...."
Again without invitation, she took a seat next to him - uncomfortably close - and took a deep inhale. Anemic. And not really that attractive, but more so without his glasses. She suppressed the urge to tear his head from his shoulders for being such a poor treat. Of course, her face expressed none of this.
"If this is not a good time for you, we could do this another day?"

"She's small. Take her, right here. After violating her, lop off her head. No. Cut her body into twenty pieces. Then we can bath in HER blood. Come on, she's right there. Do it Shiki. I'll even do it for you."
Those thoughts ran through his mind as he fought them off. He tilted his head towards her; his voice, body, and resolution being much stronger than previously. His eyes went from gray to a light blue.
"No, we'll do this now. But if you take too much blood, I'll kill you."
no subject
"I already told you, Tohno-san, I won't take more than I need, and I don't need much. I will be good, I promise."
With that she released his hand and scooted nearer, pressing herself against his side.
"May I?"

He turned to her and put his hands on her shoulders, as if he was about to hug her. Looking deep into her eyes, he gave her the answer she was looking for.
"Go ahead."

The fingers of Shizuka's right hand elongated, nails growing and curving into talons. With the utmost delicacy, she made an incision at the crook of Shiki's neck and eagerly began to lap the blood that spilled forth, careful to avoid contact with the wound. Her right hand shrank to normal and immediately set forth teasing the cut to encourage more blood; thin, but edible.
[ooc: Uhh...okay, I was talking to Jazzi and we both decided that it would be safest if she just cut him and drank since her saliva's so potent that it would turn anyone into a vampire. Even people who came from a long line of hunters (like Zero).]

On the vampire's body, one spot sang out to him. Right below her right shoulder, three lines converged into a point. A point of death. Even though he couldn't directly see it, it was there. All he had to do was jab his thumb in there and it was all over.
"Do it. Do it. Do it. Do it. Do it. Do it. Do it. Do it. Do it. Do it. Do it. Do it. Do it. Do it."
Shiki was fully engorged with his own mental battle that he barely could spare the thought to make sure the vampire wasn't drinking too much.

The whole affair was very neat, if she was to say so herself. Unlike most vampires, she usually took care not to waste and spill. Her lips were just tinged the slightest pink, more so toward the seam, as if she'd been eating a candy. Even so, she wiped her mouth with the back of her hand.
"Thank you so much for helping me, Tohno-san."

His hand roughly pressed down on his neck, to keep anymore blood from flowing. His other hand pulled out his glasses and put them back on, not wanting to risk a terrible migraine for keeping them off to long. The magic in the lenses removed the lines and dots from his vision, decreasing the pressure on his brains.
"You're welcome. It probably wasn't much but if it helps you hold over any worse urges, I'll feel like I've accomplished something."
no subject
"You have. This was a very noble thing to do, Tohno-san. You trusted your blood to a creature you don't even know just to stop someone else from suffering. Very noble."
She stood, straightening her hair.
"I'm sure you're tired of me by now, so I will take my leave. But the next time I'm hungry, should I come to you?"
