After setting up the arrangements with Caspian, Tosh headed out for her third 'meal date' of the day, shaking her head in bemusement at how oddly these things seemed to schedule themselves. She'd anticipated a silent day around the flat, and instead had spent most of her time out with friends. Which was nice, and desperately needed. Now, she stood outside the door of the pub, leaning against the wall as she waited for her guests to arrive.

Peter saw it as a bonding opportunity, and nothing more. If he had been slightly more sober he might have protested, but this way wasn't so bad either.

"Definitely." Peter said, giving a few vigorous nods of agreement. "You should come over to our place once in a while too. We're always open to company."

Tosh was thankful, then, that there were no protests, although she suspected she wouldn't get away with a move like this next time.

"Thank you, maybe I'll do that. And you two should come by and visit us. Play basketball or have breakfast and some of Ianto's famous coffee. We've always got people coming and going."

She stopped at the corner, and pointed in the direction she intended to go. "I'm not much further, no point in you having to circle back around. Thank you for coming out with me today."

"Basketball," he asked Toshiko curiously but without pressing the matter because his mind couldn't possibly take learning about an entirely new game complete with its scoring system right now. He also nodded in agreement with Peter, that Tosh was invited for company whenever she'd like.

"Believe me, Toshiko. It was a pleasure," he smiled, stopping delink so that she could walk at her leisure.

"I can explain to you later, Caspian." Peter said, as he also let go of Toshiko. "We'll definitely visit."

"Be careful." Peter added as an afterthought, as he held his hand out for Toshiko to shake.

"My pleasure too," Tosh replied, smiling as she shook Peter's hand. "And I will be careful, you two as well."

"Oh, all right," he conceded, looking to Peter in one of those strange 'you must' ways now that his interest had been piqued.

"A fair eve to you, Toshiko," Caspian wished her with another smile and a halfway bow.

Peter gave Caspian a small nod. If Caspian was interested in basketball the next morning, Peter supposed he could explain. A physical demonstration might be easier, now that he thought of it.

"Good night." Peter smiled, as they stood at the corner. It wouldn't be very chivalrous to leave before Toshiko did, he reasoned.

"Goodnight Caspian, Peter." Tosh smiled and turned to head off down the street, looking over her shoulder and raising hand in a wave once before she made her way down the block and then around toward her own part of the city."
