Summary; Jackchecks on raids Cori's pantry.
Log;
At least Jack had a thermos of coffee with him as he ported to just outside Cori's door. He'd considered walking but given the state of today's net commentary, Jack decided it might be safer to teleport.
So there he was, coffee in hand and a ready smile on his face as he knocked politely on the door.
"CORI!"
We said, 'knocked' politely. Nothing about how he cheerfully yelled!

"Move," he said to Jack, his only warning as he literally tossed the officer onto the street.
[ooc: I am all over Tampered lol.]

"Afternoon!"
Then, quick as a quick thing is quick, Jack slunk past Cori into the apartment.
[ooc: U is a Tampered ho! ;D]

Jack slunk in too fast! He muttered to himself then shut the door.
"Fucking pig didn't want to get strip searched."
no subject
Jack shrugged out of his coat, hanging it up neatly before he headed for the kitchen.
"Where's the fun in no strip search?" Jack called back. "You know, it must just be that kind of morning though. I just found out there is this absolutely gorgeous Roman, sorta, solider living at the flats and damn but I can enjoy the Roman -sorta- Legions."
Pulling down two mugs, Jack fiddled with one thoughtfully.
"He's probably off limits though. .... No, definitely off limits, though wow is he hot."
no subject
"Roman?" He asked, remembering Mr. Anthony. He turned to follow Jack into the kitchen. See the sandwich on the counter? Yeah that's for Jack. The Nightmare remembered.
no subject
See Jack politely cut the sandwich in half, since Cori had obviously forgotten to make one for himself and thus, two sandwiches and two cups of coffee were getting set down on the kitchen table. Jack sat behind one, the other was for Cori.
"Well, not exactly. He doesn't come from Earth where 'Rome' existed but his culture sounds very Roman in the way it developed."
no subject
He lit a cigarette too, the only way to spend your morning.

Damn straight Jack looked. It's what Jack did! Ianto had permission to smack his fingers if he tried touching without permission but there was nothing wrong with an appreciative oogle.
no subject
"What's stopping you?" Blowing smoke.

Sipping his coffee, Jack smiled softly and lifted a shoulder.
"Besides, have to see if Ianto would be interested in a threesome."
And really that was the key factor there. Ianto. For all that Jack still flirted and was more than happy to run around naked and be generally inappropriate, he did love the younger man and would do nothing that would deliberately hurt him.
no subject
"Aren't you considerate," Cori remarked on the threesome. He wasn't implying a jab at that or anything either, just making conversation. He was feeling less wordy than usual too, but Jack knew why.

"So, let's see. Saturday, Tosh was cursed and thinking she was a pampered princess with a low born lover, namely Tony Stark. He was cursed also. Anyway, she told Ianto he was her brother, Ianto wasn't cursed but played along. I saw all this and couldn't help myself so I played the role of 'Daddy' which Ianto pointed out to me meant that our relationship was a little ... uh, close."
Coffee sip!
"Oh and Luke Skywalker was also Tosh's brother -according to her- so that means I was Luke's father and also Leia's and Dawn's."
no subject
"You lost me," the Corinthian said, shaking his head slowly. He'd managed to follow the family tree, but when incest got involved and somehow the Jedi got involved, Cori just didn't think it was worth wrapping his head around.
Idly, he gave his sandwich a poke.
no subject
"Oh but it was funny. Tosh thought I was going to send her off on an arranged marriage and everything. Well, okay she thought it because I told her that's what Daddy was going to do."
no subject
He smirked at Jack again then took another pull from his cigarette. "That explains her embarrassment."

Then he watched how he was reaching for the sandwich. Good man, eat the thing. Cori hadn't crafted it for nothing. He put his current cigarette out only to light another. Nicotine, the breakfast (or was it lunch?) of champions.
"Anything else going on," asked the Corinthian while he puffed on the fresh stick. He hadn't been keeping too close a toothy eye on the network. Little reason to.
no subject
"Not much, though it's Tosh's birthday this Friday. I believe Ianto is putting together a surprise party at Lux. I'm sure she'd love to see you, if you wish."
no subject
"Is it," he tilted his head briefly, maybe in a little surprise. But he didn't address the invitation just yet. "What're you getting for her?"

He then shoved the rest of the half sandwich he'd laid claim to into his mouth and chased it down with his coffee.
"Right, best be getting on my way. I'll come by and pick up the thermoses later."
Standing, he carried his mug to the sink and then threw out the paper towel he'd been using for a plate.
no subject
"Yeah, I picked up on your M.O." Cori remarked with another smirk, but he didn't insist Jack take the thermoses with him. "... I'll think about Toshiko."
no subject
At the doorway, Jack grinned and winked.
"She'd appreciate it," he said softly and then was off, grabbing his coat and heading for the day. "Talk to you later, Cori!"
no subject
"Yeah, I know," he said a little more quietly, maybe even conceding to the fact that the nightmare would be a jerk to prohibit himself from going. "See you, Jack."
