Characters; Our fighters
Summary; It's fight night.
Log;
The address that Carla had left as her meeting place left something to be desired. She had found the abandoned building on one of her frequent midnight boughts of wanderlust. It had once contained a relatively small indoor pool, it was clearly recreational, had no room for lap lanes. Not that it mattered much, it had long since been drained of water, its tiles broken. There wasn't much light, but she had been bothered to put up a few electric lanterns.
That's about as fancy as she's getting. Otherwise, she's waiting there with the medic, and with her hat and its numbers. She knows how many she spoke to, and has just a few extra should any strays wander in.
When she sees about as many faces as she'd expected and is tired of waiting, she brings round the hat. She's only explaining this once. Take a number, put it back and remember it. They're drawing opponents next.

Feeling a bit restless, are we?

[Not that the capital letters are obvious when spoken.
He considers the question. Is he restless? He does miss action, combat. He misses sparring.
And the memory of what happened back in his world makes him uneasy, when he focuses on it too much. So one might say he was restless. In the end, he agrees, in his way.]
I try to find ways to occupy my time here.

This certainly might be worth investing in.]
Then perhaps I shall entertain you one of these days.
[Even though he knew the man could win against Carla with ease, it would be an awful shame to have him use up any of his stamina before crossing blades with him.]
