Don't do this, Caspian.
[Peter says evenly. He's not going to get into a shouting match with Caspian.]
no subject
Why.
[He asks, more evenly now because he's drawing his sword anyway.]
no subject
No matter what you do, you won't become High King.
[Not to mention you'll regret this when it's all over. Peter has his hands on Rhindon, but he hasn't drawn it just yet. Maybe he can talk Caspian out of it, now that they're face to face.]

[His sword comes arching across, edge aiming for Peter's throat. He's already looking to shed blood. And he will regret it whether it spills or not.]

What is wrong with you? Fight me.
[He can tell Peter is holding back.]
no subject
He has no qualms of holding back anything. He inserts himself in the fray, aiming to catch Caspian's shoulder from behind with a downwards cut from the sharp end of his sword.
Revenge? Think of it as just rewards. Equal pain for equal pain. As far as Edmund sees it, the only one who can take any title away from Peter is Edmund, himself.]

A smug smile works at Edmund's lips, knowing he's managed to do Caspian in a bit. He's still more than a little unsatisfied, and more than a little upset. Edmund pulls his sword back and slices it out after circling Caspian, diving back without warning.]

Immediately he thrusts his sword at Peter while kicking out at Edmund's knee to try and keep him at bay.]

If Edmund's thankful or upset at Peter's interference, he doesn't show it, driving his sword down, as he manages to barely avoid Caspian's kick.]

[Caspian growls when Edmund's blade cuts into his thigh. That's going to hurt in the morning. Without even thinking he takes a hand off his own sword to crack his elbow against the other brunette's nose. This leaves him wide open to Peter but Caspian is quickly changing his grip on his own sword to switch to a defensive position.]

[He ignores the blood. On his cheek, dripping down his nose. Two hands on his blade, Edmund strikes forward from where he is, leaving Peter the opportune moment to take Caspian down from behind.]

Too late. The gold pommel hits him hard at the back of the neck. A perfect strike. Caspian falls forward, out cold. There'll be a bruise there in a bit.]
no subject
Oh, how ever do the mighty fall.
The Just wipes his face angrily with the back of his hand, scowling at the sight of blood.
Edmund rises his blade high, ready to deliver a final blow.]

[Peter's voice is full of warning, as he throws a punch at Edmund. It's impulsive, something he wouldn't have done normally. But Edmund's cursed, and about to step over the line. Edmund will just have to understand.]
no subject
He was about to kill you, and you stand up for him!
[Edmund spits. There's blood in his mouth. Metallic on his tongue. He does himself a favor, he throws a punch back.]
no subject
We're in this together, Edmund. A curse or not, can't you see? Things only get worse when we're at odds!
[He's a bleeding mess. The fight can't keep going on like this. She doesn't know what else can be done.]
