Log; OPEN TO ALL~
When; Aug 27, evening (forward-dated ._.;)
Rating; G
Characters; OPEN TO ALL
Summary; A gathering of music~ more info here!
Log;
The stage was set: a clear sky above and soft grass below.
Some who came early were already arranged in a semicircle, chattering quietly among themselves. One corner of the sky was dark blue dotted with stars while the other was soft glowing red from the setting sun. Yet quite suddenly, a great light seemed to have given way to dark as the light from the West quickly faded, revealing the night sky behind it.
Arwen, seated on a stool before the gathering, tuned her lute. Hearing it, the crowd hushed into silence.
"I will begin," she said in a clear voice. "Yet not for being the best, for I believe we shall hear music of greater beauty as the night goes on. So let anyone come and play us their music, and let none be interrupted while they are here.
"However, apart from this rule, you may do as you wish. Should one of us play a dance music, do we not dance? Should one of us sings a familiar song, do we not wish to join them in harmony? This night is not for the showing of skills but for the pleasure of music. So let us all be filled with it."
She tried each string of the lute before turning back to the audience with a smile. "I shall begin."
The night deepened, but even the trees were hushed, leaning forward to hear the sweet music.
[ooc: So, reply to main post if you're attending/taking the stage/going to talk to Arwen. Then others may reply to your thread if they attend your performance/going to talk to you, then keep replying to each other there so that it's not confusing ♥
Arwen's song is from the Rowallan Lute Book (17c) titled Gypsies Lilt, performed by William Carter of Palladian Ensemble. Btw, actual uploaded music aren't compulsory, it's just nicer~]

The stars were beautiful and she wanted to hear what music people from this place would play and sing.
On the stage, sorry I'm late
He played a soft harmony accompany in B-flat, on his usual trumpet.
Don't worry, you're not <3
After awhile, she reverted to playing accompaniment, allowing Blue to take center stage with his trumpet.

Blue had seemed mellow to her when they first met, but Arwen was glad that though the night too will end, he seemed a little happier. If the gathering would bring but a little joy to a single person, it would all be more than worth it.

After a little while, she pulled her borrowed flute from the pack on her back and blew a few experimental notes before beginning to softly accompany the current performers.
[OOC: The song she's going to play is Dove's Figary (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5qPNSjAKdPg), the first song on the video (it ends around 1:26). At least it's not Greensleeves? >>]

Smiling brightly, she let go of one hand and twirled herself around him with an accompanying laughter. Still holding one of his hands all the while, she stepped according to the music, urging him to dance with her.

So he joined in with her, moving in time to the music, their movements and steps complimenting each other perfectly.

Feeling calm, soothed, the witch strolls over to where the little girl is. "Alone?"

"Not anymore?"

Sparing her a faint smile, she asks. "Where's Xing-ke?"
