Summary; The Blue Light opens for music, drinks, and hanging out, of course!

Blue was on the little stage near the bar playing some swing standards and enjoying the atmosphere. Finally he had a club that was his; something that he had never had before imagined, but that he was enjoying. A place he could play, a place that wasn't stuffy with the aucoustics of a cathedral, a place where he wasn't too young, white, or hayseed.

After yesterday's curse it was nice to have an opening. He hoped it would go well.

[Cori wins the FIRST game. He scuttles through the side entrance, dressed all in white though his blazer is missing because really, he doesn't want to wear one.]

[Stands near the edge of the room looking it over. Decent lodgings for a house of music and entertaining. Alas! Running low on cigarillos, Tybalt takes one nonetheless.]

[Zach walks in, hands stuffed in the pockets of his jacket, because when isn't he wearing a jacket or a hoodie or something probably too hot for the weather outside.....but luckily this is inside....score. To his credit, he dressed 'nice' ....ish. Okay, really nice. Hey, he wasn't sure. White collar, tie, jacket......and jeans. What? Jeans are nice! Looking around, he pauses not aa few paces in, appreciating Blue's talent and the obvious work put into the place.]

[He smiles through the trumpet when Zach comes in and waves with the trumpet, sort of]

[You think he doesn't notice you watching, Zachary? The Corinthian looks right back at him, dressed all in immaculate white, though he's ditched the blazer. Plus the black sunglasses make it hard to see who the nightmare is really looking at. But this time it's really you, Zach.]

Fly's attempted to look proper again, dressed well enough and clean-shaven, hair trimmed. He's not that used to parties in which he might not know most folks, so right away his eyes are searching out friends, especially Blue.

Blue decided to take a break for Fly, and makes his way through the room.

"Hey!" He waved and ran up to meet him. "You came, I'm so glad! What do you think?"

[Mickey enters, wearing his white jeans and tight transparent shirt. Don't we all love that shirt? The 'no pot' policy made him less interested in coming, but alcohol was good too and the nightmare'd probably drag him here at some point anyways. He sits down at the bar, drug-free as requested.]

[Blue is making the rounds while the rest of the band plays]

Hey, Mickey. I thought you were only frequenting pot-friendly establishments.

Anita edged into the crowd, keeping mostly to herself or the people she knows. She was happy to be out of the apartment for the night and what better way to spend it than with good music and good company.

Blue stopped a moment at Anita's table. "Hey," he said with a smile.

It was a nice place, and after circling through the crowd to get a feel for this place, Cloud headed back to Anita's table. He slid into a chair next to her, and watched the people moving around them.

"This is nice."

[Hey, he tried that whole 'dressing smart' thing, this time. At some point during his set, Blue may find a little friend (http://i70.photobucket.com/albums/i119/tenshinotakai/RPGs/michigan.jpg) sitting on the stage, watching him. Hurray for Jumping.
