Summary; Movie night! :D
Log;
So it was a movie night. Honestly, in Doumeki's mind, something like this was slightly over due--though he had only been gone for a couple hours for himself, in the City it'd been well over a week. So a night to relax and watch a couple movies wasn't such a bad idea.
He'd stopped by the movie store on his way home--Tatsuki and Orihime's, to be exact--and picked out a few that perhaps the other two might be interested in, those 'other two' being Ishida and Rukia. No Kurosaki, which meant it would hopefully be relatively calm. Then again, one never knew in this City, but hey, Doumeki could hope. He glanced down into the bag, making sure the movies were all in there, eyes gracing over the titles. He thought he'd picked a few good ones, and a couple classics that he knew both he and Ishida liked. Robin Hood was quickly becoming a tradition, though he had refrained from picking out Men in Tights. Somehow, he wasn't sure Ishida would appreciate that movie as much as he would regular Robin Hood. But, if all went well, they'd have time for two or more movies, especially since they were now well-supplied with caramel corn, if the two large bags in Doumeki's other hand were any indication. He'd grabbed those from the carnival, and they were still warm--that was the best way to have caramel corn, anyway.
Although carrying all this stuff did make getting into the apartment difficult, so when he reached room 104 in building 12, he kicked out a foot, knocking against the door with the toe of one black shoe.

Crossing both rooms, he began to speak before his hand touched the knob. "You can't even open doors anymore?"
Though, for his part, he sounded considerably less irritated than he might once have. Not that this spoke of any relief on his part for having his roommate return - Uryuu, of course, preferred solitary living overall. Once having opened the door and observed the reason behind Doumeki's newest turn of manipulative co-dependence, he refrained from further comment, merely stepping back and out of the way.
Or, further comment in that regard. "I trust you selected acceptable films?"
Not that he waited in that spot for the answer: the food was cooking.

"Yes." He set the bag down on the table in the kitchen as he followed the Quincy inside, moving towards the stove to peer at what the other archer was cooking...and perhaps steal a bite or two.

Scowling at her phone, Rukia slipped it back into her pocket, pausing only a moment before knocking on the door to the shared apartment.
Not certain if it would be necessary or enjoyed, but being familiar with the idea of bringing things to peoples' homes, Rukia had two tins of mochi in her shoulder bag, green tea and red bean, respectively. Adjusting that bag for something to do while she waited at the door, she had the passing second to wonder what her brother was doing. It was, however irrelevant, a thought she had often when there was nothing else in front of her.

"I don't think so," he said, and before he could elaborate, he heard the knocking. With a thin-lipped, victorious smirk, he pointed the utensils at the doorway.
"I need to finish this. Get the door."
wtf self it's my tag *desk* I'M SORRY GAIZ
He opened the door to Rukia, before stepping back to let her in, pulling the door more open.
"Hi."
IM SORRY TOO? 8D
"Here," she offered the tins to Doumeki. "I thought..." she trailed off. "Well, they're good to snack on." This was her way of saying: and I thought since people seem to stuff their faces while watching films, observations of Ichigo and Renji as her reference.
ME ME ME ME ME ME
"Kuchiki-san," he said, without turning, and dashing a few last sprinkles of some spice or another onto the meal, a finisher. "What did you bring? We'll have popcorn, of course, so that wasn't necessary."
Oh, right. "But, thank you."
WE CAN ALL BE FAILTASTIC TOGETHER 8D FAILTASTIC BUDDIES
"They're good."
Good--but no personality in them. Watanuki or Ishida could make better.
: FAILS THE MOST X INFINITY + 1 WHAT NOW? :
He was the type that appreciated his space when he worked, really something that she understood well enough herself, if for completely different reasons in the kitchen--his being more of a personal bubble thing probably and hers being that she'd rather just set the kitchen on fire rather than another person in it, if it came to that.
"I figured you would have popcorn," she added thoughtfully, arms folding as she stood there, glancing around before her gaze settled comfortably somewhere between Ishida and Doumeki.
HAHAH THAT IS STILL ME BUT nICE TRY.
It was ready. Uryuu turned off the heat and shifted position in the kitchen, so to retrieve the bowls. Mackerel miso stew, as he had craved it and knew he could do it well. "You should sit down."
He had set the table before, napkins folded twice and chopsticks aligned. Distributing the food equally, leaving a good bit in the pot, Uryuu managed to carry the three to the table and set them down in front of each place.
"What would you like to drink, Kuchiki-san?"
NO WAY I FAIL MORE THAN BOTH YOU GAIZ PUT TOGETHER.
"We have lemonade, iced tea, milk, Coca Cola and water."
