Summary; Rain's friends gather to celebrate the completion of her home.

Tony waited with the others at Rain's new "house". A lot of people had helped out with it in one way or another and he knew that she was be excited that so many of her friends had gotten involved with it. Besides that, Rain had a lot of friends who had shown up just wanted to celebrate the occasion with her. Personally, Tony enjoyed being part of something that was built for no other reason than just to make someone happy. That was always a good feeling.

And he was excited to see the look on her face when she saw them all. Even if she couldn't seem to understand why, Rain had a lot of friends.

A ways away the Iron Man suit was landing on the roof of the library, waiting to pick Rain up to take her "flying." Tony wasn't in the suit so that he didn't risk accidentally giving away that there was a surprised planned for her and so that he could be at the actual house itself. Remote piloting worked great this way.

Once Rain was ready, he could take her to her new home.

Rain was up on the roof, excited to be going flying! "Hi!" She waved at it carefully. "You can see me, even though you're not here. Hi!"

"I can see you just fine," Tony said, the suit chuckling and shaking it's head. "It's like I'm right there with you, as far as I'm concerned. Are you ready to go?"

"I am, yes," she said with a grin. "Oh, it's such a beautiful day, I keep feeling like all good things are going to happen!"

"Alright then," he said, offering her his hand for her to hold on to. "Let's go see what good things we can find for you."

"All right," she said cheerfully, taking his hand. "Maybe we can skim over the ocean again!"

"Sure," he said, lifting off of the building a bit as he held on to her. "We'll go through the forest and then to the beach."

"All right," Rain said, closing her eyes to just let herself feel the wind blowing through her hair and pressing against her skin. "That sounds wonderful!"

The suit nodded and lifted off, heading towards Rain's new house at a leiasurly pace. "The trees are looking beautiful now that they're changing colors," he noted.

"I know!" she said. "It's beautiful! And I collect some of them sometimes. And leave them in places along where I walk so I can enjoy them each day."

"That's a good idea," he commented. "That way you always have something to enjoy... and we're almost to what I wanted to show you."

"You have something to show me?" she asked. "Is it a pretty tree?"

"Not quite," he said with a chuckle as he came into the are where her house was. "It's your house."

It didn't look anything like a traditional house. Since she disliked walls so much it was mostly a transparent roof attached to a cut out section of a hill over a cleared out area. Beneath the ground were coils that would provide the necessary heat to keep her warm in the cold months to come. The roof had a defroster and a giant wiper blade and shade setting as well so she could enjoy the stars at night and keep the sun off during the day.

For extremely windy or rainy days Tony had included one wall made of the same transparent material as the roof that she could move around along a track on the outside of the roof so that she could be sheltered if necessary. There was furniture that Logan had made for and a few special things Tony had included that he would show her later. Religious and mythological symbols were worked into all the designs as well, anything and everything that could be protective. And her friends were there as well, all eager to introduce her to her new home.

She went completely still, just staring at it. "That's... that's mine?"

Iron Man chuckled and landed, nodding. "It is. All for you."

Her eyes were huge and she just stood and tried to take it all in. "It's... it's just like a part of the forest. It's like a hobbit hole except open! So I can see the stars and no one can trap me inside! Oh, it's so beautiful!"

"And lots of people helped," Tony said from outside the suit, smiling broadly. "A lot of people wanted to be a part of this."

She looked around at everyone there. "You all... They all did this for me?" she asked him. Her eyes filled with tears as the emotions overwhelmed her. "This - everyone is so kind!"

"We just wanted to give you back something for how kind you've been to us," Tony said, spreading his arms out. "Come on, let us show you around."

She swallowed hard, rubbing at her eyes and beaming even as tears threatened. "Oh yes, please, let me see all of it!"

"We'll all show you," he gestured, indicating her friends. "I think you're going to like it."

She turned and hugged him tightly. "Thank you," she whispered fiercely. "Thank you so much!"

"Of course," he said, giving her a small hug back. "You're very welcome."

She turned and smiled at everyone there. "Welcome to my house, everyone. Come on, Tony's going to show us everything there is and you can all tell me what you did so I know who to thank for what!"
