Grace was waiting quietly by the door for her young friend. It was so pleasant to have such a sweet girl to walk with. Thinking of Rosella reminded Grace of her family. The one she left behind. Grace would dearly love to see them for Christmas. Oh well, perhaps she would, but that was not what was at hand now. Grace looked in the mirror to cheek her hate. Everything in place, a basket for flowers picked and an extra sweater if it was needed. Right, all that was needed now was Rosella for their walk.

Miss Hawkins had been right about the air being crisp; after leaving the Library, Rosella made certain to stop by her room and and retrieve a warm cloak before heading out again. Picking flowers with Miss Hawkins sounded like a lovely way to spend the afternoon, in her opinion. She liked the older woman quite a bit, really, and she hoped that spending time with good company might help to lift her spirits.

It didn't take her long to arrive, and she rapped on the door once she did so, smiling cheerfully.
