Summary; A little b-ball one-on-one in the aftermath of.. well.. drama.

Blue eyes watched with shining satisfaction as the 3-point jumper sank into the hoop so cleanly it barely made a sound. She'd been going through drills and practice shots for the last hour or so, trying to keep her mind off of well... everything going on. Basketball was good. It was routine. It was something she could do and not screw up.
The girl prince jogged to the basket and quickly brought the bouncing ball back to a waist-high dribble. She idly passed it from hand to hand then passed it around her back before hooking it off the backboard and through the net. Utena caught the rebound and dribbled back to half court. She passed the ball to her left hand between her legs, eyes narrowing as they focused on the goal. She tried to envision competition, namely the entirety of the Ohtori Academy varsity boys' team. Her body moved instinctively, muscle memory guiding her through the proper steps of what would have been a cleanly executed pick & roll... if she had a teammate.
