Log:Ongoing
When; Evening of the 27th
Rating; PG13
Characters; Jack Sparrow and Agent Sands
Summary; Jack doesn't want to speak to Sands again. He certainly isn't ready for it. But Sands has called him out and so Jack agrees to talk with the man.
Log;
There's no way around it, though. Ignoring Sands would only make things a thousand times worse. Who knows how the man would choose to lash out over it? Jack would much rather be there to gage everything. And so, he pulls on his coat and trudges through the melting snow up the dock to the door of apartment thirteen. Quite a lot of weather to endure to go next door.
He's wet, cold, and wearing his anger and impatience clearly when he finally knocks at Sands' door. As he knocks, his free hand stays on his gun, ready to draw on his twin if need be.

"...Capsize? You have me on a floating bumble bee?" He has no idea what the 'stern castle' is but understands the physics.

Jack wonders what, exactly, a bee has to do with anything, but moves on from it.
"Don't worry yourself over it. I've had her in open water and she's not sunk yet. If it troubles you, we shall give her a proper test in port before ever setting out. She seems sturdy, though, and more so since the City's renovations."

Sands is very very protective of Jack (who he sees as himself) with Liz (who he sees as Aljerez in a dress). Her being near him makes him constipated. As if someone was making a bad movie based on his mutilation with eccentric actors and costumes. Women Are The Devil's Seed: Based on a true story.
He nods. "I enjoys tests. Lets do one of those."
No sinking for him, thank you.

Jack sees the two as equally threatening to him, really.
"Soon as we have a full crew for her, we shall have them all on deck. A few runs of the full crew from the starboard rails to the port should prove if she's bound to tip or not."

He said the same thing about Aljerez when another agent warned him off. He's quite bothered by all this. So he drinks more, sneering at nothing. Jack has to make his own decisions. Sands just fears they both make the same wrong ones.
"So... the crew does practice drills of raising the sails or whatever ans that will tell us if it's seaworthy?"
That was pretty much gibberish to him.

With so much else to worry about, Jack's told himself he doesn't need or want revenge for this. Not yet. Surely there shall be a time for it, if it's needed. But it will itch in his mind none-the-less. Even if he knows he would have done the same in her place.
"... Yes..Something like that."
Explaining further wouldn't do much good. Drinking will, though, and so he does.
