Summary; Day five of the treasure hunt takes our heroes to a rather creepy locale...

It's late. It's creepy. And we hope you've come prepared, because it's going to take a little more searching than usual for the intrepid followers of Peg-Fisted Jack’s badass pirate treasure map challenge to uncover…a chest!

And within that chest, they will find an assortment of FABULOUS TREASURE!

Five clues have been left here. Two within the chest itself, the other three are nearby.

Well, now, this is a little more like it, isn't it? Say, is it just me, or is that an ominous wind blowing in? Stare too long at the shadows and you might start thinking you see them move. And who knows what or who you might find when you uncover that chest...

[Ikuto didn't like this. It was one thing to hide chests in lighthouses and gates and then switch to random places like bakeries, but a graveyard? Did whoever it was that started all this want them to become grave robbers? It seemed like they were playing some kind of game with them...]

[He looked around, making sure that there wasn't anyone hiding behind a gravestone. Why was there even a graveyard in the City? He'd heard that people couldn't die here... whatever that entailed. Still, it felt as creepy as any graveyard from back home.]

...Scared, Amu?

[Amu did not like this at all. Of all the places that it had to be located, why a graveyard?

It was creepy, and she hated being in places like this or even thinking about things like there could be ghosts around this place.

The moment she heard Ikuto ask her if she was scared, she just shook her head, she didn't want to admit it to Ikuto of all people]

I--No, of course not. So where do you think we should start looking?

It might be hidden behind a tombstone or something. [He didn't want to tell her the other, morbid possibility.] ...Just stay close, alright? There might be some jerks hanging around who want to scare people. It's almost Halloween, after all.

...Alright, I'll stay close.

[Ikuto didn't answer at first as he checked behind another grave marker. He was looking for the treasure purely out of curiosity by this point. How many more clues until they found out what was really going on?]

[Yoru was floating over by some of the larger tombs, staring at the incriptions.] This is creepy, nya~ [He paused for a moment. What was that dark object in the corner?]

Ikuto~! I think I found something, nya~!

[Amu kind of followed after Ikuto as he looked around, then as Yoru called out saying he found something, she looked over in that direction]

[Ikuto walked over to where Yoru was, looking at the chest shoved to the side of the tomb. Of course it was hidden in the darkest part of the graveyard. Ikuto brushed aside the cobwebs and then looked back to Amu.]

You coming?

[She looked towards Ikuto and was inwardly freaking out. Of all the places it had to be, it was in the darkest part of this place-- it's not scary, no of course it wasn't-- at least, that's what she was trying to tell herself.

She just nodded though and began to follow after Ikuto-- hopefully it wasn't as scary as it looked]

[The dark didn't bother Ikuto too much; he was more concerned by the feeling that they were being watched, but he hoped that was just his imagination. Opening the chest, he glanced over the treasure inside ~~it looked like today's theme was necklaces~~ and took one of the pieces of paper laying on top.]

Another clue.

[Okay, so far so good-- it wasn't that bad yet. She looked at the chest as Ikuto opened it, and saw there were a lot of pretty necklaces within it-- she turned to look at Ikuto moments after as he'd grabbed the piece of paper, which contained the clue]

Another one? What does it say?

"And where, then, the treasure so carefully guarded? ‘Neath the unblinking stares of the long-since-departed."

Well I guess we can try looking tomorrow, where ever that ones leads.

[She wasn't sure what the clue meant at that moment, but she really wanted to get out of this place now that they had found what they were looking for, because there'd be less chances of something creepy happening]

...Yeah.

[This one was a head-scratcher. Ikuto had no idea what it meant. "Long-since departed" almost sounded like a graveyard again, but that couldn't be it, since that's where they were now. It could wait for tomorrow.]

Let's go then. You can take what you want from the chest.

[Hiyori wasn't doing so well in the cemetery. She was doing slightly better than she had been when they were in the forest, though.

Well, until that comment, anyways.] A-Ah! You think it would actually be buried?! I really hope not! [Yes, she KNEW that people couldn't die here, but the idea of digging to find something in a GRAVEYARD still freaked her out, okay? Okay.]

Don't tell me you're scared.

The last ones haven't been buried.

N-No, I'm not scared! It's just that it's around Halloween and all, and you never know with the City . . .

That's a good point. Do you really think they'd change it? Also, the ground would be different in the place where it was buried. [Okay, so just because these sort of things freaked her out didn't mean that she didn't read these sorts of things. It was almost like research; most of those mystery manga had mentioned the ground thing. And it made sense.]

What do you say, group leader?

There's a lot of open space around here though...

Yeah . . . Hey, you think maybe that's where it is? I mean, everyone's going to be looking around in the dark, hidden places, so maybe it's right in front of our eyes this time?

That's a clever thing to do...

It's worth a try.

I'd say yes but if something happens, I can't protect both of you at once if we're split up.
