Summary; A tea party between the two of them at Rain's house.

Angelica found Rain's house after some searching, it'd taken a bit of effort but it would be well worth it. For the occasion Angelica had left the violin case at the range, hidden where no one would find it. For a tea party one didn't need those contents. But for a tea party tea was required, cake and tea cups too. With both hands she carefully carried a basket filled with various supplies for the event. Angelica approached the area slowly and smiled.

Rain smiled. "Angelica! Come in. Welcome to my house (http://community.livejournal.com/tampered/690850.html?thread=11834274#t11834274)!"

As Angelica entered she looked around, amazed at the structure. "It's amazing," she said, thus vocalizing her thoughts, and at the same time trying to remember all the details for later. Would her mind even allow her to?

"My friends made it for me," Rain said cheerfully. "So I wouldn't feel scared and trapped."

"You have very dedicated friends then," Angelica said this after giving a sincere smile.

"Everyone here's very nice," Rain agreed. "I'm happy here."

"That's good." And it was good, most people didn't seem to enjoy the city that much. Angelica held up the basket a bit to draw attention to it; "I brought things for the tea party."

"Oh, that's wonderful!" Rain said happily. "Come in. we can set things out on the table. One of my friends made that for me too."

And so onto the table went the basket. She opened it quietly and started to take its contents out, Angelica also took the chance to look at the table. "It's well made," she said.

"I'll tell Logan you like it," Rain said with a smile.

She set the tea cups out, happy at the selection. The cake was still in a box so she made sure to take the box from the basket than then the cake from the box. Angelica looked into the basket and pulled out a thermos, kind of hesitant, "I made tea ahead of time," she paused, "But I brought items so we could make tea here if we didn't have enough."

Rain's eyes were wide looking at the beautiful cups and the cake. She smiled over at Angelica. "I'm sure your tea will be just fine."

"That's good to hear," she said and set the thermos down with everything else.

Rain smiled at her. "Is there something I can do to help?"

Angelica thought for a moment after setting the plates out with the cups... utensils and dishware, it was all there. "Oh," she smiled as she closed the basket, "Would you like to cut the cake?"

"Oh gosh no," Rain said quickly. "I'd probably just make a mess of it."

Angelica smiled, well it was worth a try? After all; she didn't trust herself with a knife right now. "I'm sure it wouldn't have been that bad," she said and cut a slice for first Rain and then herself.

"I've really never done anything like this before," Rain admitted, taking the slice carefully.

Pouring tea was much easier, she filled both tea cups before setting the thermos down. "It's fun though," she was careful holding her own slice as well, "You gather with friends and enjoy tea and cake."

"I've never really had many friends before," Rain admitted. "Or any, exactly, till I came here."

"But now you have very nice friends," Angelica replied, with a smile. "Oh, do you like the cake?"

"I do," Rain said with a shy smile. "I've been very very lucky here."

She tasted the cake carefully and smiled. "Oh, it's very good!"

"That's very good." Being unlucky in the city would be horrible no doubt.

That was extremely good to hear, she had been terribly nervous that she'd get a cake that Rain wouldn't like. "I'm glad you like it, though I have to admit that I had to purchase this cake..."

Rain wasn't sure if that meant Angelica had originally intended to steal it and had gotten caught or something, so she just smiled and nodded. "It's very nice. I've never had much cake before, so it's really a treat."

"Well I'm glad you get to enjoy some today."

"Me too," Rain said with a shy smile. "Thank you so much for coming. Did you have a hard time finding the house?"

Angelica thought for a moment, completely silent as she carefully thought her words out; "It wasn't that hard."

"I know it's tucked away and not exactly a real house-house," Rain said. "But I didn't really want it to be anything someone would just stumble over."

"It's nice as is." Which was very true, no point in putting a house in the woods and then making it easy to find.

"And I don't feel trapped," Rain said cheerfully. "I have enough ways out."

Angelica smiled; "Well that's good too." She paused before asking in a softer voice, after all she didn't feel like this is a question she should ask, "Why do you need many ways out though?"

Rain shook her head. "If bad people come I don't want to be trapped. I have to be able to escape. In apartments there's usually only one door."

She tried not to let herself get agitated, but wasn't sure how well she was doing.

That was true about apartments. Didn't like being trapped. Of course Angelica wouldn't be able to relate, but it was understandable. "That makes sense."

Rain smiled at her. "Good. Sometimes people don't seem to understand."
