When; After the curse day/afternoon
Rating;PG
Characters; Naminé,Sora
Summary; So after the scariest day of her life curse, Naminé resumes her search of Sora using Roxas's directions. Whatever happens next is TBA.
Log;

It was a big place. She had the sore feet to prove it. Still, she was happier than she had ever been. She had never just been allowed to walk around like this. She was always restrained in some kind of way or other, so this feeling was new. And it was not a bad feeling.

She walked past the towering apartment buildings, looking again at the piece of paper she had written the directions on. She stopped when she was in front of the right place. She almost hadn't done this. Suppose someone like Zexion had wanted her there for a reason? But she had relaxed a bit when she realized Riku was in the same place. Nothing bad could happen if they were all together.

Sora missed Kairi more than he ever had, so the idea of her Nobody coming to stay brightened Sora's day. He remembered life with Riku and Kairi and hoped it would be the same if not similar to that. He was so excited he took the stairs literally one set at a time.

Then all that separated him from Naminé and the outside world were doors. Standing there, he was reminded of the dark beach with Riku and the door leading back home. It put a smile on his face when he shoved one of the doors open. He didn't count on the girl to be right there waiting. "Naminé!"

Sora was happy, happier than he had been, to see her. His feet barely touched the ground while he ran to her. He hesitated, wondering if he should hug her like he would Kairi. His arms remained at his sides.

"It's been a while," he says with a surprisingly calm tone. His hand was very gentle when placed on her arm. "I missed you. How've you been?"

"Riku..." He laughed. "Riku's the same. He hasn't changed at all. He tries to bully me around but he has no idea I let him think he's bullying me." Sora, for all his innocence, was a mastermind when he put energy into tricking his friends. "Don't tell him I said that though. He'll try to beat me."

"It's been a year since I came to the City..." Sora seemed sad at the thought. As a boy in love with his home world, he was suffering greatly. He often wondered how his friends and family were. "I went home for a little while. I went to bed and the next day I was here. Roxas was here too, but he wasn't like he is now." Thinking about the dark, brooding Roxas he shared the City with made him a little sad too.

Confused, Sora said, "I thought you knew him before I did." He hated comparing the two different Roxases, but... "The old Roxas was nice. We were like brothers. Now whenever I talk to him it's like I'm talking to another Riku." His frown expressed his frustration at this. "He's different now."

"There's a lot I could tell you," Sora offered, glad to help her. "If you have any questions you want me to answer first, I'll do my best! But..." He turned more toward the building, eyes raised to the top. "... I think going inside is a good idea. I can show you around and you can ask questions." He looked back to her and held out his hand to her in offering. "If you want."

"Don't be sorry for anything," Sora told her, gentle with her hand but also firm. He should have taken off his gloves before going to meet her, he thought. Maybe take a quick shower and make himself look more presentable; maybe even try to tame that mane of his... "What happened at the castle doesn't matter anymore. What matters is that you're here."

He went on to tell her he was on the way way top of the building, sharing his apartment with one Riku and an orange cat named King that was a little on the chubby side. Sora made sure to open each and every door open for his friend, too.
