A simple walk...Nothing More; In Progress

When; Today, evening
Rating; PG
Characters; Vincent Valentine [livejournal.com profile] dirgingcerberus  and Justine Alexander [livejournal.com profile] lovemarked
Summary; Vincent and Justine take a walk down to the fountain to see what they can see.

Log; Vincent reached a gloved hand into the pouch at his hip and withdrew the crumpled but whole map of the City Cloud had been so gracious as to offer him.  His crimson eyes scanned the jotted lines and found the building number Justine has provided him.  Finding the building quickly, he made off in that direction.  He cut an imposing figure as he made his way, blood-red cape billowing behind him, the collar of it obscuring much of his face, his hair obscuring it further.

Why was he doing this?  He didn't know this girl.  He'd only spoken to her a few times and never in person.  He wasn't even one hundred percent certain he could pick her out of a crowd.  Yes, her hair was quite noteable, but with their fellow denizens of this City being as they were, it was hardly remarkable.  Perhaps it was her smile.  She had a very alluring smile.  He thought himself beyond such thoughts, but perhaps there was yet a part of him living.

He shook his head to clear it.  She was...normal.  She was a good, normal person who had no business talking to the likes of him.  He heaved a sigh, heavy with sluggish acceptance, and entered the building she'd indicated.  When he came to the door she'd told him, he knocked quietly.

She leaned her head against his muscular arm, giggling prettily. She'd been mostly joking, but his reaction was enough to make her think twice. He was cute in a goth-y sort of way, if he'd just do something with his hair and maybe trade in that cloak for a newer model. Then again, it looked as if Vincent and that cloak had been together for a long time, and who was she to question a relationship like that.

"No, it's not just a big gun. It's a really big gun. Come on, let's check out that fountain." She said pressing herself a little closer to him, trying to reassure him.
