THREAD (Closed now)

When;Wednesday/Afternoon
Rating; TBA
Characters; Namine, Kaoru Hitachin, Kaoru Kamiya,Makoto
Summary; She is sitting on the steps of the apartment building , sketching the people as they pass by.Namine has become more interested in the city residents.
Log;

The blond drew up her knees a little as she shifted the drawing pad to a more comfortable angle. She only had the vaguest recalling of the fourth wall curse, but the event had made her more aware of the many people and personalities co-existing in the city with her. She had not actually sat down and put pencil to paper in a long while.

So many lives uprooted and brought here....so many different existences...yet people rebuild and go on. That's the way of things. she thought. I'm not homesick for anything myself. I have all the people I need right here. I'm lucky.

Kaoru'd been walking through the City, basking in the relative silence compared to the previous two days. He'd quite enjoyed interacting with the various types of people, but there were times when he'd rather spend the day with Hikaru. Or alone.

Walking along buildings and shops, he stopped when he saw a vaguely familiar girl perched on the steps, drawing. Sauntering over to her, he peeked over her drawing pad.

Mind if I crash?

Kaoru was coming back from the dojo and trying not to think of the all too real events of the fourth wall curse. There had been three of her. Three of her. One of them had been the previous her who had been here before and married Kenshin.

The whole thing was making her think and dwell too closely on what had bothered her the first time she'd heard about this other her. She was real right? She could stand and walk and speak. She had every one of her memories from the time she could start remembering. She was real in every sense of the word. But what did that mean here? If another her could show up, one that seemed more 'real' to others, did that make her real?

Kaoru however had never been the best at logic and reasoning. Where someone would come up with the idea of multiple realities or a splicing of the timeline that caused three of her from the same timeline to simultaneously exist outside of time and space, Kaoru thought of neither idea.

She was the sort of girl who took action, running headlong into trouble in order to protect others. She wasn't the type to think with a rational mind. She was also a girl and a girl in love. That made the rational part of her mind even less likely to show itself.

She noticed the girl however. She couldn't be much younger then Kaoru herself. Another distraction, making friends. She wasn't thinking of it as one, just that the girl seemed like she might be nice. She offered a wave of her hand and a smile. "Hi."

Makoto had been out walking - a little relieved at the (however temporary) return to normal, and a little disappointed that the swell of people (some of whom were very enthusiastic, if a little confusing) weren't here to stay.

Walking along absentmindedly, it took her a moment to notice Namine. When she did, she raised a hand in greeting and began to approach. "Hey!"

Kaorus are taking over!

"Hello, miss," he said kindly, taming down the Host personality. Normally, he would attempt to woo the ladies and persuade them to visit the Host Club to see him. However, he had a feeling he'd met this girl on the Network before. Though he wasn't quite certain. He pointed at the drawing, "May I ask what you're drawing?"

He glanced at the other woman, a bit curious. It was beginning to feel like a party. Oh~

Because we're so cool

Red hair. That was really different, Kaoru hadn't really met anyone with red hair before. At least not in person. She let the boy lead the conversation. He didn't look much younger then she was either.

yes to posting order!

She nodded to the other two as she approached. "Hope I'm not interrupting anything," she said with an easy-going smile as she reached the group, leaning sideways against a wall not far from where Namine sat. She leaned over to try and get a glimpse of Namine's work.

Well, this was certainly interesting, Kaoru thought, smiling charmingly at the other two women in his usual way. A small bow before he returned to Namine's question.

"Ah, I don't live here, I'm afraid. My, such lovely friends you have, miss."

Well this had become something different then she expected. The girl was very artistic. She looked over at the drawing and couldn't help but remember the artist that Tae had been so interested in. See! She couldn't be fake, she had memories of the past!

Without showing what was going on in her mind she smiled at the art after bowing to the other two. "Your picture is really pretty."

"Nice to meet you," she offered in accompaniment to Namine's introduction, bowing slightly again to the other two. "Call me Mako-chan, if you'd like." This she offered to all three with a small smile before looking down again to examine Namine's drawings.

Abstract or not, an artist's touch was unmistakable. She leaned down slightly, her gaze appreciative. "This is really nice!" she commented softly.

"A pleasure, ladies," Kaoru winked flirtatiously, as he does so often. He certainly didn't remember their names or faces, so he assumed he'd never met them on the Network.

"I'm Kaoru." She tried her best to sound her normal bubbly self. "None of you practice at the dojo, do you?" She would have recognized them if that were the case.

The redheaded Kaoru's wink brought a faint blush to her face - she's always been too easily flustered by gentle flirting, particularly from people who remind her of her sempai - but it was the other Kaoru's words that brought a pleasantly surprised grin to her lips.

"There's a dojo here?"

Intrigued with the presence of another Kaoru, he sat back and watched the conversation unfold before him. He made a mental note to speak with the other Kaoru specifically. How fun would that be, he didn't know. Though surely it would be quite interesting. Name twins- with a woman, no less.

She shook her head to Namine. "I don't think we have, I haven't been here very long -" She paused for a moment, the statement sending an acute shock through her body and reminding her of what she was trying NOT to remember.

After a few moments she went back into recovery. If Kaoru was good at anything it was the ability to bounce back when she wanted to deny something completely. "And of course we have a dojo. I'm one of the teachers there." She realized that the boy seemed to have pulled himself from the conversation, but said nothing. Maybe he was just curious.

Makoto noted Kaoru's reaction with a slightly concerned expression, but like Namine, she was content for the issue to slide when the other girl proved to be fine. "A teacher?" she asked, with a little surprise, before breaking into a wide smile. "That's great! How big is the place?"

She turned to Namine; the question didn't seem too odd - after all, some if not most of her friends had probably asked the same question, more than once - and she smiled as she explained. "Ah, they teach - and practice - martial arts."

"Ah, Miss Kaoru must be quite strong, then," Kaoru said in his well-known, frail voice. A tilt of his head, a hunch of his shoulders. He quickly dropped the act in favor of a more contemplative tone. "I wasn't aware there was a dojo, here."

Hunny-senpai, he knew, may like it there.
