Log [OPEN]
Characters; Aion and OPEN
When; Dec. 7th. Evening.
Where; At the Raven; High-Ends Area
Rating; To be determineddepending on who comes =>>=;;
Summary; The sinner chilling at the nightclub, drinking, listening in on the conversations around him, and watchful eyes observing.
Log;
Just another night out in the Underground to seek information, Aion decided to hit up on the nightclub that seemed overflowing with people every night. Though he preferred his usual outing at the Casino, he figured he should change the mundane atmosphere and give other places a try for the sake of variety. After all, he was looking for some entertainment as well.
Slowly walking through the crowd as his eyes observed the different people on the dance floor and chatting while lounging around, he made his way to the High-ends where the music didn't seem quite as loud as the Low. The sinner ordered a drink and chose a comfortable corner to sit in. Though his face expressed one that seemed to mind his own business, his ears did the opposite, trying to listen on any conversations around him. He had heard about the Social Club from the little girl that one afternoon but there were bound to be people here that must know something or any information for that matter. The Underground was surely the place to gather useful information, if not have a good time.

Anymore, she no longer hid them. Instead, two stunning men and one beautiful woman followed her where ever she went unless one was on an errand. They'd ordered her a drink which she now carried with her as she walked. Her many jewels glittering and her dress clinging to her form.
The man in the corner caught her attention and she offered a coy smile to him.

He then glanced towards her company, one by one, to see if anything stood out from them as well. Nothing unusual, at least to his knowledge. Well, there was no better time than now to find out. Aion re-focused his attention on the woman as he slightly raised his glass in the air to invite her to join him.

Tilting her head slightly, Graendal stopped before the man. "I hope that was an invitation. I certainly took it as one."
no subject
Aion gestured towards the open spot next to him; His voice playful. "Come, sit and relax."
no subject
"Allow me to introduce myself. I am called Lady Basene. Might I have the name of the man I am sitting with?"
no subject
"Well, Lady Basene, my name is Aion. And what brings a beautiful lady as yourself here tonight?"
no subject
"Sometimes one just grows tired of familiar surroundings. As fond as I am of The Den, I felt the need to come elsewhere this evening. It has been some time since I was last here so I chose this place."
no subject
The Den. He remembered passing it on numerous occasions on his way back from the Underground but had never actually gone in there before. Raising an eyebrow to show his interest, the demon asked further.
"I see. The Den, huh? What sort of place is it?"
no subject
Her head tilted to the side as she studied him. The last bit of information she would give in just a moment. Graendal enjoyed a little moment of hesitation. It generally kept the conversation interesting.
"I own it now."
no subject
"Do you now? Ha ha... So I take it you must know quite a few people in this world then."
no subject
"I have been here for almost a year now. I know a good many."
no subject
"Must be my lucky day. Perhaps then I may ask you, dear Lady."
Spinning the empty glass by the stem between his fingers, Aion continued.
"Would you happen to know anything about a certain 'Social Club'?"
no subject
"I do. It is said only the most evil are members. No member knows another's name except for the leader of the group. Together, they make plans for chaos in the City."
She turned herself to better look at him.
"Were you thinking of joining it?"
no subject
"And what if I were to say, yes? Would that intrigue you?"
no subject
A pity she was not a member herself. The only access she'd ever had had left the City. However, Graendal would love to have the codes again. To serve as a secret spy once again.
"Very much so."
no subject
Was she a member herself or some tramp after men with power? Perhaps even the leader. That would be something, Aion thought. He had to know more.
"And why is that?"
no subject
"The Social Club intrigues me. A potential member does as well."
no subject
As soon as she left, the demon continued with his questioning. "Then are you implying that you're a dangerous woman?"
no subject
Graendal's lips curled into a mysterious little smile. Once more implying things that she was thinking.
no subject
Being a demon who had lived longer than what he appeared to look, Aion was curious as to just how old she was. She didn't appear any older than someone in her late 20s but considering himself, she may have been the same. Looks were quite deceiving.

Setting her glass down, she touched a finger to its rim until little webs of ice were sliding down the side. At least, that would be how it would appear to him. Only Graendal was able to see the weaves of her power that she'd used.
Satisfied that her drink was chilled enough, she brought the glass to her lips again and took a long, slow sip.
no subject
"You've just heightened my interest."
He was convinced someone as her may prove beneficial to him. She was well worth keeping in mind. As the server came back and placed each glass in front of them both, he took his second drink and raised it towards her.
"Then perhaps I'll be seeing you more often, Lady Basene." With that, he took a slow swig himself.
no subject
Amused, she raised her glass in return. Graendal was convinced he could be useful to her. And, rarely was she wrong.
"I do hope so. However, for private conversation between us, let me give you my real name. Though, I will ask that it remain between us. I do hope that won't be too much trouble."
no subject
"Very clever of you. And dangerous indeed. Though I'm very pleased you agree. Well then, you have my word-" The demon stopped his sentence for her to fill the rest in. Yet the beginning of another interesting partnership.
no subject
"My name is Graendal."
