Log;

Just another night out in the Underground to seek information, Aion decided to hit up on the nightclub that seemed overflowing with people every night. Though he preferred his usual outing at the Casino, he figured he should change the mundane atmosphere and give other places a try for the sake of variety. After all, he was looking for some entertainment as well.

Slowly walking through the crowd as his eyes observed the different people on the dance floor and chatting while lounging around, he made his way to the High-ends where the music didn't seem quite as loud as the Low. The sinner ordered a drink and chose a comfortable corner to sit in. Though his face expressed one that seemed to mind his own business, his ears did the opposite, trying to listen on any conversations around him. He had heard about the Social Club from the little girl that one afternoon but there were bound to be people here that must know something or any information for that matter. The Underground was surely the place to gather useful information, if not have a good time.

The Raven wasn't her usual place to be. However, Graendal had decided to be some place other than The Den. True, she owned the place but it could be so tiresome after a time. And so, she'd taken her three servants with her to come here.

Anymore, she no longer hid them. Instead, two stunning men and one beautiful woman followed her where ever she went unless one was on an errand. They'd ordered her a drink which she now carried with her as she walked. Her many jewels glittering and her dress clinging to her form.

The man in the corner caught her attention and she offered a coy smile to him.

An invitation. Her lips curled upwards a little further as she moved over to where he sat. A wave of her hand and the trio with her sat nearby. Close enough to still show off their beauty but far enough away to give an aura of privacy. Not that it mattered. They would never say anything to anyone but her.

Tilting her head slightly, Graendal stopped before the man. "I hope that was an invitation. I certainly took it as one."

"I would be happy to do so." Taking the seat, she took another sip of the drink she held. Whoever this man was had decent tastes in where to sit. Graendal couldn't help but approve of it.

"Allow me to introduce myself. I am called Lady Basene. Might I have the name of the man I am sitting with?"

Aion. She intended to remember that. One never knew when something as simple as a name would prove to be useful. Names could hold such power behind them. That she had seen before. With her birth name, her true name, and her false name.

"Sometimes one just grows tired of familiar surroundings. As fond as I am of The Den, I felt the need to come elsewhere this evening. It has been some time since I was last here so I chose this place."

"A place for food, drink, gambling, and entertainment. It was originally owned by someone known as Greed. He left some time ago."

Her head tilted to the side as she studied him. The last bit of information she would give in just a moment. Graendal enjoyed a little moment of hesitation. It generally kept the conversation interesting.

"I own it now."

A sweet little smile graced her lips as she took another sip of her drink. Aion was interested then. Graendal was pleased with that. Perhaps she'd have to make sure that he stayed that way. At least until she could gather more information about him.

"I have been here for almost a year now. I know a good many."

So, her instincts had paid off for her. How wonderful.

"I do. It is said only the most evil are members. No member knows another's name except for the leader of the group. Together, they make plans for chaos in the City."

She turned herself to better look at him.

"Were you thinking of joining it?"

[identity profile] akaladybasene.livejournal.com 2008-12-08 09:36 pm (UTC)(link)
"I must confess that it would."

A pity she was not a member herself. The only access she'd ever had had left the City. However, Graendal would love to have the codes again. To serve as a secret spy once again.

"Very much so."

She gave a small laugh at the word 'daring'. Graendal was anything but. For so many years she had been the most careful of all the Forsaken.

"The Social Club intrigues me. A potential member does as well."

"I could imply a great many things to you. Time teaches a woman many things. Especially if she pays attention. That could very well make me a dangerous woman."

Graendal's lips curled into a mysterious little smile. Once more implying things that she was thinking.

"I could. If you were interested. After all, I've learned much."

Setting her glass down, she touched a finger to its rim until little webs of ice were sliding down the side. At least, that would be how it would appear to him. Only Graendal was able to see the weaves of her power that she'd used.

Satisfied that her drink was chilled enough, she brought the glass to her lips again and took a long, slow sip.

"Have I now? With that little bit?"

Amused, she raised her glass in return. Graendal was convinced he could be useful to her. And, rarely was she wrong.

"I do hope so. However, for private conversation between us, let me give you my real name. Though, I will ask that it remain between us. I do hope that won't be too much trouble."

"Graendal." She far preferred her Forsaken name over her birth name. Such a tiresome person she had once been. But, no longer.

"My name is Graendal."

[ooc: Not really. This was mostly me going "I finally found a chance to have someone interact with him!" XD But that was a lot of fun! I enjoyed doing that with you. You're right though, this is a good place to stop. And I really hope Graendal and Aion can keep interacting!]

[ooc: Awesome! I look forward to more stuff between them then! And you're welcome and thank you. <333]
