When; Midnight, December 8th by the fountain
Rating; NA
Characters; Reno, anyone that wishes to come and kick his butt.
Summary; Being cursed by the Ghost of Christmas Past was NOT fun right now.
Log;

Agitated, Reno walked up and down in front of the fountain, arms folded and frowning in concentration. To anyone that walked by, it would look like he was waiting for someone... but that wasn't at all what it appeared to be. His curse had gotten him good, yet again.

Appalled, a tiny part of his brain couldn't help but watch as the rest of him got caught up in the vision, seeing things that weren't there, saying things to imaginary people that he had a long time ago. There was something... something not right about this, his instincts screamed, but the vision was too strong at the moment.

Twirling around suddenly, he said to the fountain, "They're here. Get me down close, I'll make a jump for it."

It was impossible to slop out of a fountain with dignity. Reeve let himself be hauled.

"Dead and uncomfortable are not mutually exclusive," he muttered, wrapping his arms around himself. "You'd better get me home without pneumonia or I'm siccing Vincent on you."

"Well I'm not fixing it for you." Who said age brought maturity? Reeve could be petulant with the best one. He pulled out his, which he'd long since waterproofed. It worked fine, of course.

"What happened to Vincent being the mythical Turk?" he muttered, punching in a call to Cissnei. She wouldn't yell at him too much. He hoped. "I thought he was like, the boogey man to you people."

"Whatever," Reeve muttered, followed by something that sounded suspiciously like, "I should have drowned you while you were in there."

But they both knew he didn't mean it. He was glad to have Reno back.

"I'm trying." He didn't bother pushing Reno off because -- warmth.

"We'd better start walking, then." His clothes were freezing.

Reno didn't want Reeve knowing he drank wussy coffee? Reeve couldn't imagine why not.

"I don't want to walk home alone!" He might be murdered again. And hello, cold.

Reeve was wet and unhappy, too, didn't that count for something?

He'd extract his revenge in the morning. For now, he had to get home and into dry clothing. After all, Anita was waiting.
