Summary; Supergirl has invited Thelma Bates to a day at the hot springs, for reasons of... her own.
Log; Thelma herself stood with Kara at reception at the hot springs. She'd not done this sort of thing before.

"Well... you take point, this was your idea," she told her friend.

"Oh, is that how it's going to be?" she asked, glancing over at her friend. Kara had a towel over her shoulder as they headed into the changing room as she was trying to act like she wasn't nervous. Which she was. A little bit.

"I can totally do that. Kara is totally in charge."

"I've never done this before," Thelma said. "Spas, yes, but hot springs... no."

"Well I haven't either," Kara said with a shrug as she started to put her things into the small locker provided. "But it's cool, I can take point."

"Oh," Thelma said, starting to do likewise. "I just thought, since it was your idea."

"Nope," she said, smiling as she started to undress and act like it was no big deal. Because it was totally no big deal.

"I've just heard about it and thought it would be fun to do."

"Right," Thelma said, stealing a glance or two as Kara undressed. "Well, time to get ready, I suppose."

And if she made her undressing just a little exaggerated, well... you couldn't blame her.

So Kara might have peeked a glance or two as well. Besides, wasn't that half the reason for doing this? Or something like that. Wrapping the towel around her she beamed.

"Alright, let's go sit in wonderfully warm water and relax!"

Thelma wrapped her own towel around herself. "Right. Relaxation is definitely the name of the game, here."

Kara had to admit that Thelma definitely looked good in a towel. She didn't see why the girl had wanted to hit the gym.

"You could probably get something to drink too," she added.

Well, to be fair, Thelma was a bit on the... squishier side of things. Definitely not fat, but the girl was a bit more curvy.

"Hmmmm," Thelma said. "Something fruity with an umbrella, maybe?"

Kara liked the bit more curvy. If she wanted non-curvy she could go with the other gender.

"Does it taste better with the umbrella?" Kara asked as she headed to the water. "I always wondered that."

"It sure seems like it," Thelma said. "But maybe later. I'm sort of anxious to get in the water."

"Maybe we should put an umbrella in the water and see if that makes it better," she teased as she made her way to the springs. At the edge of the pool she bit her lip nervously before shrugging off the towel.

"Well, here goes nothin'," she muttered to herself.

Thelma hesitated for a moment when she got to the water. Then she dropped the towel and slid into the water.

"...I don't think an umbrella would make this better." She stuck her tongue out at Kara.

Kara stuck her tongue out back and stretched, maybe showing off juuust a little.

"Okay, I guess you're right. This is about as perfect as something like this gets."

Thelma can't help but check out Kara as she stretches.

"...Just about," she says, a little contented sigh in her voice.

Kara sunk down a bit lower in the water until it came up to her chin and gave a happy sigh.

"We definitely need to do this more often," she said.

"Well, given this is our first time," Thelma pointed out, relaxing at the level where the water was just high enough for modesty. "Doing it just once again would mean more often."

"Smartass," she said, reaching out to poke at Thelma with her toe as she glared at her friend. Yes, that was totally glaring, she was not checking her out.

Thelma giggled, grinning like a fool. "My ass is just fine, thank you."

"And now I can agree with you," Kara said, beaming. "Seeing as how I've seen it."

"Oh, have you been looking?" Thelma said, playing coy. "I hadn't noticed."

"Maybe," Kara murmured, sinking down further into the water so that she could blame her red cheeks on the heat of the springs.

"Should I get up, do a little twirl around?" Thelma teased, gently.

Kara blushed even more, although she didn't ask Thelma to stop.

"If you want, I'm not going to stop you."
