Complete!
When; December 27
Rating; PG-13 for underage drinking and incestuous undertones. Possible brief moment of R near end, thanks to Future Ghost.
Characters; Tohno Akiha and Shiki
Summary; As a Christmas gift, Shiki spends his whole day with his sister Akiha.
Log;The day had arrived; one she had been awaiting since Christmas Eve. Today she would receive her gift: her brother would spend the entire day with her and do what she wished, without complaints. Already she had washed and prepared herself in her best outfit, and had sat herself at the table, waiting for Nii-san.
Except she’d forgotten that her schedule for waking up, 5 AM, was an utter impossibility for him.
Hence, after two hours, she calmly ascended the stairs, sought out his room, and entered. There she spotted her lazy brother, so deep in sleep; he resembled a corpse at a funeral. Momentarily, his appearance disturbed her, bringing back horrid memories. Then she shook herself, telling herself it was an illusion, focusing on how her brother was sleeping when he should be awake!
Knowing Hisui’s past troubles with this, Akiha didn’t bother with speaking softly. Instead, she kicked the side of his bed repeatedly.
"Nii-san, wake up! Today’s the day!"

"So you can't find her then. Haah, I thought she'd be the key to solving this predicament; but if she's not present here, then nothing can be done.
"Would this "mage-ish" person be Clow-san? I remember him warding my entry when I talked to him."

Lifting up his glasses a little, he rubbed his eyes. They were getting a little bleary from the drinking.
"If I ask you stay with Chrono for a couple days, you should listen to me. I have trouble sometimes and I don't want you to get involved or hurt."

Gulp. She downed her final glass, and rose from her chair, unsteadily. She managed to stand, but had to grasp the rim of the table to support herself.
"This is our last stop for the day, Nii-san. I'd like to return to our...home."
no subject
"Let's go. I'll help you out."

As for Akiha, she just leaned into Nii-san, meditating on the new information she received. She wanted to speak more of the situation, but even when they entered the Opera House and reached her room, nothing came up.
Only that she needed to hug him. He deserved that much.

He wished he could do a bit more for her today. It didn't even feel suitable enough for any kind of present. He was left with a sour feeling that maybe he had botched up something again, as he usually did involving Akiha.
"Was there any last things you wanted?"

"...I'd like to thank you properly." For everything.
With that said, she pulled him into a hug, trying to hold him as tight as her strength allowed (considering the alcohol she consumed). This really wasn't enough, in her opinion. After everything he'd gone through, nothing would be. This was just a poor, drunken attempt to express her gratitude.

That was a surprise. For a second time, she had hugged him when he hadn't expected it. He always thought she was weird but it was a good kind of weird. The kind he didn't really mind. He also realized how ungodly strong she could be as he wrapped his arms around her in reply.
"Do you need-?"

A grassy dirt floor, maybe a forest, provided the background. Dark, only the moon providing meager light. Laying on the background, bathed in moonlight, Nii-san appeared to be sleeping. But his clothes, torn, shattered, revealed it a lie. No, the blood on those clothes, pooling on his wounds, exposed it. His knife in hand, also bloodied, indicated a battle. A lost one.
His eyes...were still...open. Blank.
"NII-SAN!"

He snapped out of it at her yell and literally thought she had saw the same thing.
"H-hey! That's not...!"

She pulled back a little, though not enough to break the embrace, to check for any wounds or blood. Just to ensure they didn't exist.
"T-that was...I, saw something, Nii-san, and I don't wish to describe it."
no subject
"Yeah. I know what you mean..."

She slowly slid out of the embrace, her touch lingering on him a little. The image had overloaded her with various emotions: shock, fear, worry,...lust.
Could whatever monster that attacked him...be her? Tasting his blood from before, did she want it that bad?
Whatever had happened, she needed to get away from him. She walked toward her room.

Someday, your cute little sister will give you one just as good."
With that smile she especially gave him, she quietly shut her door.

Completely missing her last sentence, he walked off and wondered what exactly would happen...
