Log; Ongoing
When; Sunday the 29th, evening
Rating; PG-13 for sexual situations. Sorta.
Characters; Arthur Pendragon
thefutureking and Blair Waldorf
miss_waldorf
Summary; Arthur pays a visit to Blair and she takes the opportunity to explain prophylactics to Arthur.
Log; Arthur had decided to stop by and see Blair, especially after the confusing curse they had just had. He really didn't understand about half of what had gone on but from what he understood it was very similar to Blair's world. It might be good to know just how similar all of that was to her daily life.
Not only that, but he needed to scope out her apartment to find out if she had one of those TVs and DVD players that would play the movie Serena had told him about. He managed to find a box that contained the movie that would somehow show them a moving picture of a play. That was actually the last thing he needed to confirm for Thursday night. Other than that, the flowers and pie and other things were all set.
Arthur knocked on the door to her apartment and waited, unconsciously smoothing his shirt and running a hand through his hair. It felt good to be back in his normal clothes and himself again, but this sort of situation, this sort of relationship, was still very foreign to him.

She would let out a sigh of relief as he finished the task at hand and placed the err finished product on the table, but there seemed to still be something hanging in the air. "Uhm..." Blair wracked her mind for anything else he might need to know. "I have morning-after pills, in case." She stopped, not knowing what else she needed to say. He looked nervous enough about it, and she bet he was confused too. The air, however, was choking her.
"You know, I think this is the part where one of us breaks into laughter and everything will suddenly be okay, or something." She blurted out quickly, instantly regretting her words. Someone had to say it, right?

"You know I never had one of these before?" he said. "Honestly, never got around to eating one since I got here and now I'll be able to. I think I'm going to forbid them in the apartment."

But as he finished, both her eyebrows shot up in incredulity. Did he just make a joke? A little late, she broke into a chuckle. Placing a hand on her face and turning away, still laughing. "I suppose making me laugh is the other option."

"I like seeing you smile," he added. Arthur was never one for flowery or moving speeches but sometimes frank honestly played very well.

"Arthur, you're--" Looking down on her lap, she considered her words. There were many things that she knew were true and that she would like to tell him, but she knew that sometimes it was better to keep them guessing, and to keep on guard. This, too, was a game that she needed to play well. Especially when she had so much to lose. Still, she could afford giving him this confession.
She looked back at him. "You're one of the best things that ever happened to me."

"I'm glad to hear that," he told her, squeezing her hand back. "Because I plan on continuing to happen to you. I'm glad I met you here."

Leaning over, she tilted her head to the side to give him a slow but light kiss on the lips.

When she kissed him he wrapped an arm around the small of her back and pulled her close, deepening the kiss a bit and moaning softly.

Resting her forehead on his, she gave him a fond smile.

Pressing his forehead against hers he reached up to gently stroke her cheek with his hand, enjoying the feel of her skin against his hand.

Blair smiled under his touch. "I would call you Prince Charming, but Cindy told me the real one is a Casanova."
no subject
"I have no idea what you just said," he told her, smiling a little. "But you keep talking in that accent and I don't care what you say."

She supposed the way around that problem is not to want too much, and only let yourself want when the thing is already yours. Or something.
Laughing, she jokingly hit the side of his head with her fist. "Excuse me, you're the one with the funny accent!"
no subject
"I am not!" he exclaimed, shooting her playful look. "Everyone where I'm from talks this way. And I didn't say your accent was funny. I think it's exotic."
no subject
Then, smiling coyly at him, she whispered, "I think yours is sexy."
no subject
"Is that so?" he asked, cocking one eyebrow and leaning in a bit until his lips were brushing against her ear. "How does it sound when I talk about how beautiful you are?"
no subject
"With a voice like that," she whispered. "Anything you say would come true."
