Log; Ongoing
When; May 1, all day
Rating; PG? PG13? Medieval sports violence?
Characters; Open, but characters with ill intentions beware of Narnia's zero tolerance policy.
Summary; Lucy's birthday celebration begins late morning with a tournament till sunset and general merrymaking afterward into the evening. Presents not requiredbut probably a perk.
Log;
[ooc: "It's a field!" For more references this is the poly_tldr tourney post, this is the 1st IC tourney post, and this is the 2nd IC tourney post! Consolidating into one log instead of two, so label subject lines accordingly whether it's "Match: Spy vs. Spy" or "Spectator~" or "Evening Party: Open" etc. etc. Have fun!]

Not a curse meant there was a possibility that it wouldn't go away on its own... "Maybe there's someone in the City capable of helping with lost memories... Or something like that. Magic, or some sort of technology for that..." there was so much incredible stuff in the City, maybe there was something, or someone, they could use to help Serena...
And then she asked... And he couldn't believe she did. He raised his eyebrow and glanced at her.
"You do know, I'm perfectly capable of lying to you today..." He pointed out. Yesterday's curse seemed to be over. He thought for a moment. He wasn't okay. And he didn't want to tell her that.
"Unlike you, I'm used to drinking all night. But you might get more of an answer when I've had some sleep."

Innocent look firmly planted in place, Dawn shrugged. "Yeah, and you can if you want. I'm fully prepared for competition level fibbing. I just... had to ask. In case you wanted to talk."
Oh look, a distraction! Dawn held up one finger, shaking her head. "I didn't drink at all, let alone all night, thanks."

He took in the innocent look and shook his head. "I really don't," he said and took another sip of his coffee.
He welcomed the distraction, grateful that Dawn offered. "Water shots, I take it."

Dawn nodded agreeably. "Okay. Then don't. I just had to try."
Distractions are good! They keep things as light as needed. "And cranberry juice and vodka, sans vodka. No alcohol passed my lips at all. Yay me."

When he heard about the cranberry juice he shook his head and looked at Dawn with a mocked disgust on his face.
"You're disgusting," he said, amused with the entire situation.

Dawn shrugged, laughing. "I like cranberry juice! And I couldn't exactly just order a Diet Coke and say it came with rum already there. Serena isn't exactly the sharpest right now, but she'd catch onto that lie, I think."

"You do realize that in every bar they serve Diet Coke in whiskey glasses. Sometimes with ice or a slice of lemon. Regular Coke looks exactly the same in those glasses like the one with vodka, or rum... I'm just saying, because clearly you don't party all that much. For a girl who's eighteen"

"You're coming tonight, right? Because I think Serena might be getting antsy with just me."

Yeah, she's totally flirting a little bit.

Pulling her sunglasses slightly down with one finger again, Dawn looked at Chuck mock seriously. "Just our secret, right?"
