Umi nodded with determination. Caspian had an excellent point! Just imagine what valuable tidbits on horsemanship she could get from such a teacher! She only hoped Bree would like her, and prove her theory that every horse in the world held a grudge against her wrong once and for all. She smiled at her friend.

"Hikaru, Fuu and I are lucky: we can visit Cephiro whenever we like, back home. But it's nice to think I could get to visit Narnia too." Or any of the worlds her friends in The City came from, at that. "Going by what I know about it I like it already!"

She waved her gloved hand around. "Do you hold this kind of tourneys often, back home? It's a great way to keep in shape with the sword!"

"You can," he asked her, curious about this Cephiro place and how she and her friends seem to be able to come and go as they please. He wouldn't ask if it was by wardrobe or a chasm or a door in the air.

Then as if remembering himself Caspian nodded. "We do, not very often but... you can say once during each season, except for winter when the ground is too hard."

"Mmm. It's a gift we were given after we restored Cephiro." Now it was Umi's turn to speak of her... could she call it her second homeworld? with affection. She got carried away by the nice memories for a bit. "We just... will ourselves there. It's wonderful to see all our friends whenever we can!"

But back to reality! Caspian was talking about the tournaments. In fact, he was talking like Umi thought a general would, when assessing a battleground. It made her wonder. "You got lots of experience with ground combat and the like, right? Do you also have to fight to protect your world...?"

After restoring that world... It came very close to the stories of old, he thought, except without the ease of walking between worlds so casually. Caspian wondered how that was possible, what power in their world allowed such a thing or what about Umi and her friends made them so deserving of such a gift. He wasn't envious, hardly, but it was something desirable and not necessarily for himself.

"That's incredible, Umi. And you are very blessed to have it," Caspian spoke honestly, "I wouldn't mind hearing more about Cephiro sometime." Then he averted his gaze when she spoke of experience. Right, well... who didn't find out eventually? It didn't help that the Telmarine referred to his friends as the Kings and Queens of Old. "Yes, I did, and still do when I am there. It is my sworn duty as King to lead, protect, and serve," he said in a firm and confident tone.
