"Well, I'm glad to have found you!" she answers with a grin. "And yes, I'm Rosella. It's a pleasure to meet you at last, Lucy. I do hope you're having a good day? Birthdays are important, after all."

She offers the box to Lucy. "And gifts (http://3131designz.com/yahoo_site_admin/assets/images/green_aventurine_and_cats_eye_side_view_cropped.6383034.JPG) are, too, I think, so this one is for you."

"This is my twelfth one," she announces, even if it's not the whole truth. She is twelve, and twenty-seven, all in one. But she has age within her, and even despite that she is still very much twelve hears old.

She takes the box. "Thank you very much," she says politely. "May I open it now?"

Oh, yes, Rosella remembers being twelve; the thought brings a fond smile to her face. She can't quite put her finger on what it is, but there's something she just likes about Lucy, something familiar to her.

"If you'd like," she replies, nodding.

Lucy is a likable girl. Twelve is a good age, even if this is the second time she's done it. She opens the box carefully, taking care not to rip the paper too much, a leftover of conserving paper from the war.

She smiles broadly at the bracelet. "Oh, this is lovely!" she says, laughing, pleased. "Thank you so much!"

She knows it's not much, so it's gratifying to see Lucy so pleased with the gift. "You're very welcome," she says with a smile. "And I hope you have a wonderful twelfth birthday, Lucy."
