Characters; Captain James T. Kirk [profile] starfleet_pimp and Lucy Pevensie [livejournal.com profile] lionesscouchant
Summary; Kirk goes for a walk in the woods and meets a mysterious stranger.
Log; After the situation with the circus, Kirk needed some time to himself to clear his head. For someone like Kirk, that meant going out into the woods in the evening where he might encounter monsters. He could never just go for a walk in the forest by himself, that was out of the question. There had to be some sort of risk or thrill or challenge involved in it for him to want to be involved. That's why he liked space so much, because there was so much emptiness out there but there was so much happening in it. Bones had once described space as 'disease and danger wrapped in darkness and silence' which sounded just perfect to the young man.

So he wasn't really expecting to meet anyone out here, although he had brought his phaser with him just in case. He brought it pretty much everywhere with him in the City, it was just that kind of place. Another reason why he wasn't going absolutely crazy here. That, and all the interesting women. He was always excited to see what challenge or what girl (or both things in one package) might present themselves next.

Lucy knows, at least, how to smile prettily. "Oh?" She says, and once she makes sure that Destrier is fine, that he is not angry at being stopped in his fierce run and that he does not need anything from her she turns back around to find Kirk a little bit closer than when she left him.

"And now you have run into me, or perhaps it is the other way around, and you find yourself pleased?" she knows he is pleased; his smile is far too broad.

"I was looking for an adventure," she explains.

Lucy tilts her head, just a little. "Diplomacy states, you know," she says, her lips tilting just upward, "That Captains should keep a good few steps away without an invitation."

Lucy is close enough to Destrier to be able to mount and flee quickly, should she choose, and Destrier is close enough to bite Kirk if he should so decide. Caspian's horse has good sense, to add to reason. "Should I invoke diplomacy?"

She leans in, almost enough to kiss him, then her hands go to his chest, enough to give them space to breathe. "Maybe I do have a knight in waiting. Or maybe it is just my destrier and I, tonight." She tilts her head.

"Do you know how to swordfight?"

Lucy's smile lit up, just a bit more. His hands were on her hips, and with that to steady her and Destrier just behind her she turns her upper body, her hands moving to Destrier's saddle, and levers herself up onto the horse. She is stronger than she looks.

"I do," She says. "Maybe I should make this a challenge," she adds. "Learn to swordfight - learn to defeat me, and that might earn you a reward."

Lucy was a tease, and she always has been, in a way.

"No," she says. "I'll find you. Perhaps I'll even teach you, a little. I can't expect you to learn from nothing, can I?" She flicks her ankles, just a bit, and Destrier walks around Kirk with a practiced ease. "You had best, actually, not say my name on the Network entirely."

Lucy turns Destrier one more time around Kirk. "Stand on your tiptoes," she commands, because it is a command.

She leans down, smiling, managing to stay on because Destrier is well trained and she is well experienced, and she presses a kiss to his cheek - maybe a little closer to his mouth than is precisely proper.

"That's my favor, don't lose it."

He's smiling a smile that makes Lucy want to give him more than that, but she's much better at restraining herself than people generally believe. "You're right," she says, "A man only gets one, from me."

And then she gives Destrier a little kick, and they take off again into the night.
